  i've had in the past studied a little about the bible with jws but have yet decided to be baptised.. i've just read lavenders' moving letter to her son and her love and well being for him is very obvious.

  i do like the bible teachings very much and to this day i'm very interested in the end of the system of things which will very soon come to fruition; i'm a very strong believer, however i must stipulate to all, in retrospect i'm not sinless.

  one of the posters says that jw's ask you to do a liitle bible study with them, attend one of their meetings and when you get baptised you have to do exactly what you are instructed or else.

  Keep searching. The fact that you are here asking faceless screennames about whether or not you should make the single most important decision aperson ever makes is the answer in the question. Listen to your heart if you are nagging inside then you must continue searching for the truth anf do not settle for a false imitation.

  maybe i'm just a bit paranoid but i think my parents may be on to me.

  i hope i didn't blow my cover.... i was out with some jw kids and realised that i left all my "apostate" research and my notebook out on my desk in my room.

  when i got home my mother was crying in her room.

  It was 18 yrs ago for me man. Be prepared to go at it alone. DO not do what I did, don't go crazy and screw up your life just becuase you don't want to be a JW anymore. I traveled tuff roads, today life is fantastic! I was still a sr. in high school when I was cut off. I pierced smoked and poked...mistakes.

  M.E illness amongst jehovahs witnesses?

  i have always wondered why so many jws i knew suffered from the illness "m.e" previous to being a jw i never heard of this illness but when joining the borg i noticed noticed so many jws saying all of a sudden they had m.e maybe its a jw disease trend.

  anyhow what does m.e stand for.. haujobbz
