one can only speculate.

dt 21:10-13 with the lord's approval, the israelites are allowed to take "beautiful women" from the enemy camp to be their captive wives.

The reason I'm asking you this is to determine if I CAN answer your doubt; I can from the Bible- but that will be meaningless to you if you don't believe it's true!

Before answering your lenghty sermon, can you answer 3 questions for me? (1) Is it possible to have the Gifts of the Spirit if you do not know who God REALLY is, and if you do not obey His son? and (2) Is there anyone on Earth who DEMONSTRATES such gifts- which included raising the dead, and, as Christ did, healing EVERY sort of infirmity-weteher the person has faith or not?, and (3) What do you think was the purpose of the gifts? Simply to prove someone a True Christian?

i don't think i am an apostate, but do feel like one for being on these boards as we were always warned not to at the meetings etc.. i disagree with so many things they teach, the main thing is the blood issue....being a new auntie, i love my niece soooo much and if i were the only person that could save her, how on earth could i not?

i'd be blood guilty for not saving her!!!!!

that in my books, would be murder.. however, may be it's because i've only been away from the mtgs for a year, but i still think of it most days and although i feel i've made the right decision as nothing was making me happy in it, and obvioulsy my ex beating me and getting away with it.....i still feel a certain pull towards it and a kind of insane loyalty???.

i don't think i am an apostate, but do feel like one for being on these boards as we were always warned not to at the meetings etc.. i disagree with so many things they teach, the main thing is the blood issue....being a new auntie, i love my niece soooo much and if i were the only person that could save her, how on earth could i not?

Listen to them if you want; their view, as you expressed, makes sense & appeals to the emotions- but has nothing to do with scripture! How would you apply their excuse to the Christian father with family at the Colesium, who was told that if he just sprinkled some incense acknowledging the Emporer as God, that he AND HIS FAMILY would be spared the fate of being chased and ripped apart by the wild animals?

That is a disgusting cop-out...unless Christ's promise of Resurrection is a Lie!
