i've done a lot of bad things when i was in high school, i remember one time in 9th grade, my friends and i ditched school, went to the local mcdonalds, we were hanging out in the parking lot smoking, when this station wagon pulls up, a bunch of jw's out in service, and my mom is with them!
so funny now that i look back but back then i thought well this will be the last time i ever see my friends.

Anyways, I think the only "bad" thing I did with the other JW kids was wait until all the parents went upstairs, so we could shut them out, turn on some music and do all those "nasty worldy dances" and god were they fun.

And yes, if you can't skate, you will be disfellowshipped and we will talk about your fumbling a$$ as you get off the floor. I would be a Super Elder- actually one of the Governing Hot Bodies. And you have to attend all five meetings or else we'll all talk about you and write bad things about you in the bathroom stalls. Also, you will have to make donations- since I plan on doing lots of steroids and having plasic surgeries galore (I have to be Hot after all an you wouldn't want your leading being all... normal looking would you?) and my members should pay for it since I keep them boogying on the floor.
My church would be the awesome. I mean, you might not join or stay but you'd know you would come just to see it.

I always felt bad for Cain- and this goes further in my belief that for years the bible was written with the belief that Go was right and all of his actions are just, even when explaining things that do not make sense. I mean.. how do you really know what Cain's heart condition was? Growing vegetables ain't easy...
BUT I always find it interesting in this story that it does have a ring of truth to it- I believe that parents DO tend to have a favorite. I wouldn't say they love one kid more... but then I can't speak for everyone so maybe some do, but they have a better connection with one or two that they can't have with other kids.
I know my mom has with me and that my sister senses it- I know my mom has it with her mom and her brother bitterly had to sense it. So, even though i find the parable skewed in the favor to always make God look great in every light an for Cain to look crazy (smashing your brother head in with a rock isn't right at all, don't get me wrong but the point comes in understanding him and admitting that in all of us there is a little Cain, a peson that needs to be respected as a man (or woman) and loved by something and seemed valuable especially in the eyes of our parents. His "feelwin's" were hurt and Ms. jehovah realy didn't give him what he needed at that moment)

Anything that would make your momma cry or tell you to hush up about when the relatives came over about is queer. And that's why everybody is a little queer here or there.

Most folks here are familiar with the Bible Students view. It triggers reactions rather than offer comfort. Just because its another evolution from the same source doesn't make it any more right than what the JWs have. Worse - it's longer than a Watchtower article!!!

Anyways (((Tatiana))) I am so sorry for your lost- I can't imagine the pain you are going through- to lose a grandchild... I really do not what to say and I wish I could give you an answer like those who so boldly believe in God or in a faith can give, but I want you to know that I believe where ever your sweet grandchild is, she is not suffering. I too still feel the belief of the Jws surrounding death, that you are gone and that is it and the only thing you have is to wait in Jehovah's memory, but I can't imagine having to face the viewpoint in the situation you are in- the pain and anguish you must be going through. I think it is important to get out and not be afraid to talk with others who are grieving, like a support group. I know it won't make anything better and it will not give you thing one thing you want, to hold your baby again, but you an work out those issues with people instead of a computer screen. There's some great advice here but there is nothing like human contact that makes things more easier.
Personally, holding my agnostic viws I believe life should be celebrated as well, the now and when one's past and leaves us, we have to mourn... but we also have to celebrate them, their lives and how they touched us. Of course it takes time to get there but I thnk by doing that it will make it easier to deal with the lost and doing it with your family will help all of you. Plan something in her memory and not be afraid to cry if it comes to it, just do not let the pan take your life away becaue you know your grandchild would want you to not continually hurt like that.
Now I'm just mumbling but I just wanted to say that adn I' sorry for your lost and I'm sorry that folks can take a thread and take the time to grind axes when this isn't the plae for it and I hope you can see that sometimes people don't realize what they are saying.

I ain't THAT gay. I'm like a Kinsey....4 or 5, meaning mostly gay. And in the summer time I'm a hardcore 3.6, LOL!. 'Gay' to me is more of an identity, like the right for people to be with people of the same sex... and besides when I dream i am in the arms of a guy instead of a girl.
Doen't mean I don't appreciate a nice figure or a nice set. Especially a nice a$$. You have that, guy or girl and I'll follow you anywhere.

I think we need a better... language or terminology. Because people are going to be on the board and still have theistic beliefs and need to be respected (Freaks even offended me and I'm not even a christian) BUt also allow those who have went through a struggle with dealing with those same theistic beliefs to express themselves. 'Cause yeah sometimes i need to vent and roll my eyes at stuff but...
Yeah, I dn't think you'll get the answer you want calling out the Jesus Freaks. Or maybe you will and somebody with a nice good christian heart will put aside the crack and give you the answer you want... if you really want to hear it 'cause it just seems like your poking the bear.
