  Talks that did not seem historically correct. I mean that goes to show you why it is such an important tool to be educated because if your not, I can see why someone could just sit there and buy everything said, but when I started school and classes, History, Psychology and all that jazz, whenever someone would get on stage and say something that didn't make any sense and was obvious they pulled straight from their behinds, it made me questions things more- that if they could get on stage and say that they could technically say anything. I was alwasy told the speaker wawsn't really saying anythng but was a mouthpiece for Jehovah...

  And then it made me realize that Jehovah really needed like a lesson in History 'cause he was wrong. A lot. I mean its one thing to hate the wicked but you should at least know what and when they were being al bad and evil since you plan on kiling them and all. Just sayin'.

  tired of the hypocrisy's post got me thinking ... how many jw "kids" over the age when they should have left home still live with their parents.

  i say this because i have many of those in my congregation.

  fyi it looks real bad to be a older man (ie 25 and up) scrub laying up at home unless you have a outstanding circumstance i.e.

  Yeah, i had a Greek friend who couldn't dream of leaving her family's home. she did though... she got an apartment, but guess who owned the place and was only like a block away. So that def. doesn't count imo.

  I'm gonna get out soon. Like.... *eats up the food and goes to watch some judge shows* I'm gonna look for a place tomorrow. Geez.

  What are your Guilty Pleasures of a geeky/nerdy variety?

  i don't mean the ones we know about already - things people wouldn't think you did or enjoyed to look at you.. i love watching ray mears extreme survival and learning about how to survive and find food and shelter in extreme climates even though there is a strong possibility that i shall never try and escape naked from a japanese prisoner of war camp, or crash without a flagon of water into the sahara, or come stuck in my ship in a freezing ice plateau in deepest antartica.

  Oh god, do you have the time? I am a comic nerd, more into Marvel and I can spin into some others; don't really feel the DC universe but I can pick up an issue here or there and feel them. My special love is for the X-Men. *sighs*

  Matter of fact, I have written fanfiction for it (And you get 100 Awesome Geek points if you know what fanfiction *is*) and I still (and by still meaning that since I was a sophomore in high school and am 21) role play X-Men online. My friends and I pick the characters, map out story arcs and write out scenes.We live in our own little effin' world. It's quite sad.

  But god I love it. And I actually getting into college basketball and football. It's really weird because I waws a big geek and sports were so not my thing. Maybe 'cause the guys are beefy and hot but now.. the game actually interests me now... *shrugs*

  Now I'm gonna have to go out and play it or something... *gets inhaler*

  Eh, right now I don't know. I'm not feeling Christianity right now as I use to. I feel like I'm going to eventualy end up an Atheist eve though i am open minded t othernfaiths at the moment. It's just once you break the bonds of the Jw religion, settling for anything else when you have a keen sense of to smell BS is hard at times. hel, there are times when i wanna be disillusioned and sit in a church but I can't really. But I don't know them as they are nice... for certain people. and again I also have a fear of not being accepted by churches at times.

  So, yeah there is my answer. I have no frickin' idea... and I'm cool with it.

  when i was 9 i wanted to be daisy duke from the dukes of hazzard, but had to put aside the dream when i realised my legs weren't going to ever get any longer.. when i was 12 i wanted to be ghandi, but realised wars wouldnt stop because i missed breakfast.. when i was 16 i decided that by leaving the borg and living fast and hard enough being alice cooper was achievable.. now i'm 32 i think i'd quite like to have the sensuous, striking confidence and certainty of helen mirren when i grow up.. who did you want to be and why?.

  I wanted to be an X-Man.....

  it'll happen. One day! *shakes fists*

  God, you know I wantd to be a writer so bad. I would watch things, tv shows and write little spins of stuf I'd seen. I wrote fanfiction on actual paper, son! I wrote shit and included my friends in all of my stories.

  I wrote an "adaptation" to Scream. I wrote a 300 page (yes, I actually wrote on paper when I was in the .. 6th grade?) a 300 page fanfiction to this pokemon knockoff Digimon or whatever and yes it had all of my friends lost in some imaginary world with talking animals with powers.

  God, how did I not know I was gay? Anyways. Now I wanna be an escort to really rich old men. Because I'm starting to realize that the 9-5 is soo not fun. But dammit I wouldn't even sleep with me. But hey I have goals and thats why Jehovah made gyms.

  Oh god, what really got me is next week Issues: "Bees!"

  I always loved how the Faithful and Discreet Slave would sanddwish such informative articles inbetween all the crap. Plus it would be random as hell.

  One moment you are learning about Jonah and how he survived in the belly of a shark and next you are reading about the malaysian Beetle that spins silk for blind children, wit some scriptures thrown in to blend scienceseses and the biblez.
