  this quote got me to thinking and i thought about two that i love equally and enjoy being with.

  one is mrs. perfectly scheduled and doesn't leave the house unless she is totally put together.

  she also knows exactly what wine goes with what meal.

  I need some friends...

  being a born-in i don't have much friends, in or out of the org., add to that the fact that i have been a stay at home mom for the last 4 years has made it even harder to meet anyone.

  Lukemia Witness dies due to lack of blood.....the horrific sad story.

  the nicest 41 year old brother i have ever met in my life, kind and helpful to all, goes for a routine blood test and finds he has lukemia.

  everyone was in shock, he of course refused all blood products advised by doctors.

  his blood cell count dropped dramatically and he began to suffer alot.

(and if that gives away to much, I don't care anymore, I am tired of hiding ). I love everything science, can't do it or explain it, but love learning.

  I don't comment much on the board, but I read it every day. This board is awesome! I have learned quite a bit from the links/articles posted by members, thanks guys, you made this gal just a little bit smarter!

  ok, i couldn't let it lie.

  i showed my wife some of the scientific inaccuracies made by the wts over the years .

  my wife was concerned that i have been reading apostate literature.

  maybe you should take one thing at a time, I would leave the God thing out of it completely for now

  i have found that I have lost complete "credibility" with people when it comes to religion/religious beliefs when they find out that I don't even believe in God any more (at least the Bible based God)

  I would definitely use illness as an excuse to start fading, god knows there are enough depressed JWs, --- don't lose that inheritance! I tell my mom "you didn't give me time, education, at least give me money (don't leave it to the WTS).

  i was on the phone talking about how my 12 year-old has become interested in the theory of relativity since i commented some things about it to him...my mom, ever the jw, and for some reason thinking she can still convince me to go back to the borg, quickly states, "you know, einstein did believe in god".. "yes, he did, but only because of the order shown in the universe," i replied.

  "he believed not in the god of the bible, but rather in an impersonal god that doesn't meddle with humanity's issues, sort of spinoza's god".. long silence.

  "oh, i see," she mumbles.

  something terrible happened.

  i did something to compromise myself and unfortunately my double agent status is over.

  i will soon have to move out on my own and either disassociate or face an invasive witch trial that i honestly would only take part in for the purpose of secretly recording it.

  i know exactly where you are coming from. It wasn't until i left the org that i fully grew up, it's difficult to grow up when everyone is telling you since childhood that you are not good enough or smart enough. usually it takes a catalyst to push us over the edge, in my case it was an emotional breakdown, no surprise when I learnt the truth about the truth, i was 'cured'

  My mother slapped me when i was 22, her generation believes they own their kids and of course the authority the bible gives them to do it, of course we should be gratefully they don't take us out to the city gates and hand us over to the elders for stoning.

  you sound like you know what you are doing, keep it up

  it started with the comparison of "porneia" (all sexual practices outside of marriage) being a ploy of satan, as a "lure" that a fisherman uses to catch "fish.

  " all kinds of comments were made regarding internet porn, adultery, oral sex, etc, all being a device designed to trap jehovah's people, resulting in thier spiritual demise.

  i still have commenting priveleges, so i felt it necessary to mention live bait also having a "hook.
