i am probably posting this in the perfectly wrong time of day, so if one of our australian friends could bump this thread when you are all waking up, i'd appreciate it.. ozziepost is well known for his love offfair with shiraz, an australian wine.. you may not know this about me, but i am a neophyte drinker.
i like to be in charge (is anyone surprised), and acohol unacceptably takes away my sense of self-control.

Update- My fade and the elders inaction

i stepped aside as elder in a foreign language congregation with a resignation letter in august.. i cited doubts in doctrine concerning "this generation" and 1975, and also said i don't "know".
the governing body well enough to teach their doctrine.

Dude. There's no way I can keep up with your lengthy, well-organized, exhaustive list. But I throw my 2 cents in.
I've always been an avid reader. Intellectual doubts began as soon as I began to read anything not produced by the society. I learned at a young age to bury them.
In adolescence I began to see Pharisees on all sides.
When I went to Bethel at 19 I was utterly amazed at how so many (definitely not all) bros and sis were so unfriendly and cold. I now understand that they were just hating life. However at the time this had quite a profound effect on me.
That's all my short attention span will allow me to post for now. Just wait till I get to the elder stuff + responsibilities at circuit and district levels. As I'm writing this I'm wondering why I didn't get out of there a hell of alot sooner!

so people like to blame 9/11 on bush, and fahrenheit 9/11 really tried to make it look like bush.
i remember when the movie, "the road to 9/11" came out, clinton was having a fit that it showed the problems with 9/11 started while he was in office.
