This is outrageous
by Mincan inhas anyone found that the longer you are away from the witlesses the worse their mindf*** on your mind becomes.. i'm acting in such ways that i never even acted as a dub.
it's like in everyway bad they might affect someone, it becomes exacerbated upon departure.
i never used to be so afraid to try new things, even wholesome things, while i was a dub, no more than usual, now i get paralyzed by fear to do the simplist things, like seeing people or getting my life started.. i'm slowing doing these things anyway, but i'm so shocked at how difficult it is.

I came to a disturbing realization today
by Stealth453 inthis morning, someone mistakenly text my cell phone asking that i send them some money.
the text was addressed to "paul".
my wife read the text, and jokingly asked me if i was "pretending to be paul".. i answered her, "paul?

Beards were one of the things that allowed me to see the Watchtower Corporation is full of BS, for obvious reasons and philosophical meanderings.
You are damn straight I grew a full beard as soon as I left, in fact I stopped shaving the last week before I left, I love beards and have wanted to grow one since the age of 15 or so.
I have let it grow out full beard several times, it looks alright considering I'm only 20. Right now I have an Egyptian style goat, very long and thin.
(Sorry I'm a pogonophile, so I just have to make sure I let everyone know. A goatee refers only to the hair on the chin grown alone. When you combine it with a stache but they don't connect that is called a Van Dyke. If the stache and goatee connect, it is called a circle beard :D )

I'm completely baked right now (on marijuana) but I got a massive laugh out of the bit where Adam and Eve get disfellowshipped from the garden. Kind of like how stupid all this clubhouse thing is.

So who's having therapy then?
by sweet pea ini have made an appointment to see a therapist who has been highly recommended (i don't think i would ahve taken that step, had it not been for the recommendation and that this therapist is strongly involved with a church so probably has a pretty good idea about the issues involved with cults and the like).
are any of you currently in therapy, have had it or are about to have it?
for those that have, has it helped?

I'm very afraid.
I think I might need some therapy very soon. I am not dealing with anything. I'm getting really scared. I'm addicted to marijuana now and I have bipolar. Im afraid that I want to kill myself. Im afraid im going to screw up the rest of my life Im not going to be able to deal with it later.
I dont know how to get help. Im starting to get really scared.

she was into me, and here i thought she was sincere in the truth and i never made a move, because i was honourable.. i was so lock, stock, and barrel in this cult, so sincere, it makes me sick.
i didn't realise how two-faced and fake everyone in it was until i left and now all the people out are hanging out with the people in!.

I tell a random person "I was mind-f***ed in a cult for 20 years" it doesn't really mean anything for them and they don't understand what the big deal is.
