  So tough. I know I would want to keep her alive if it was so easily done with a blood transfusion, and I know how important it would be for her to observe the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society's commands on this issue.

  Ultimately though, I advocate for the right of people's freedom to life. That includes the right to end their life if they so choose. I know that I wish there were government-sanctioned assisted-suicide clinics such as are in Switzerland. So I would.

  This question doesn't apply to me though. My mother's medical decisions will be made by her husband. If they both are incapable of making a call, they have witness friends set-up as powers of attorney. It also doesn't help that I live 3000+ kilometres away.

  I will just say I think weddings are bad ideas period JW or not. Just register the damn thing and get on with life.

  I used to completely agree with this statement. A wedding to me means absolutely nothing, but to a would-be bride of mine it may mean a great deal, so then it's not such a bad idea. I still believe it's pretty stupid to spend so much on a wedding that you are still paying off the debt it incurred a year later, or worse, or making your parents pay for such an extravagent (albeit ... unnecessary in the strictest sense of the word) event.

  the new video "pursue goals that honor god" was given to me last night at the hall.

  it encourages young people to pursue spiritual goals, and not waste their time on foolish endeavors such as riches or education.

  well, at least it used to have that message, until we had our way with it :) .

  Lol, I first heard this one in the psych ward back in September, the dude asked us what the hole represented for us. At the time I said "the L.C.B.O." a lot of people smiled, including the dude.

  What Is It About Children?

  that makes us like/love them so?.

  is it how good they smell or how unpretentious they are?.

  my granddaughter - age 9 - gave me a big smile and hug before i walked out of the door this am.. it felt good then and i can still feel the effects.. children are precious and so wonderful!.

  I've wanted children since I was about 17, damn you all for making me remember that desire, I'd just about put it out of my mind.

  I think there is something wrong with me, I don't even want a relationship anymore... but like everything else it comes and goes in cycles.

  he is happy to see them but knows the problems associated with their visit will be hard to deal with.

  you see, these relatives don't understand how difficult it is to come out of the cult and move on.

  Well I never made it to the hottub lol, within 40 minutes of taking it I was out like a light!

  I slept until 1:30pm today! The last couple months I sleep maybe 7 or 8 hours a night, but Im never tired, I jump out of bed and then early in the morning collapse back into it. I would have probably slept all day but I was forced to get out of bed to get everyone here some food. So if I went to bed at 10:30pm and got up at 1:30pm that's 15 hours of sleep! I slept through 90km/h winds last night, my grandma was so scared of them she was crying and was going to wake me up, I slept like the dead, and had all sorts of weird and disturbing dreams, fun though, not nightmares, but like freaky movies.

  I notice it changes the way the Ritalin is working a little.

  I'm fine I guess... it will take a few weeks apparently before anything other than sedation I notice on this med will not be placebo.

  Which dose were you on Tall? I know 7.5 is considered a low dose that will be incredibly sedating, 15mg is considered the starting dose, starting not to be as sedating. Why did you go off of it Tall? Side effects not agreeable? He put me on 30mg a day though... so I doubt its going to be sedating, but probably will seem so anyway because I'm often anxious. It reaches peak plasma concentrations within 2 hours, its bioavailability is 50%, its half life is 26 hours (so there will never be any not in system) and it reaches saturated plasma baseline levels within 5 days aparently. Its been half an hour and I am feeling a bit ... not sedated but calm already, kind of like I drank a stiff sip of wine or something. I know I'm a fast metaboliser of meds though, Ritalin showed me that.

  Edit: wow okay I'm feeling it, I'm feeling kind of dopey.

  Im going for a jump in the hot tub, see you all later.
