i thank you for your support for my sadness over my divorce, and not taking in the faith of the witnesses no more.

i tried the search engine for some articles and it said it was being updated.. i am still believing in the word of god, i dont believe anymore in greedy people.

Isaac, your good points is probaly why every government and religions fails. Perhaps Genesis is the only answer.

Pretty strange coming from a divorced person, but if eveyry one had a Adam or Eve partner, true love, and procreated, then everyone can decide their thoughts and actions from the wellbeing of their true love and children.Does everyone inwardly hope to be a Adam and Eve? I did when I married, so..No, not one entity or person can mold thoughts or actions, the motivation has to be within yourself, but what would motivate you?

Only love. When there are predominately married people with kids, society runs pretty smooth because of the huge responsibilty, and caretaking of eachother. I think that is what God had in mind with Genesis?

The best thing to do with a planet is love and children.

Religion I guess is summarized by the set of standards that Isaac explained and resorting to brute force and fear?

Expressing myself here without fear is great. I am a woman so, every thought tumbles into another thought. I have chores to do now, so I will read more later when your search works. and read more, and have a few thoughts or questions later. thanks.So glad this site is availiable.

"Fear no more" should be a moto for this site, there is no fear in love.

I've been reading a lot, too much. I am just lonely. I've been thinking and reading. No one to talk to lately. Trying to prove that I am still a good person.

It bothers me to have my local kingdom hall laughing at me, and I must be a butt of jokes during their car rides. I know I didnt get empathy from them. I still have a few family members that are casual witnesses, but dont have the bravery to really speak out and hope they finaly leave too. They see so many wrong things going on, but still clinging to the Hall like a life raft.

Yes, I can be patient. I know there are others at the Hall seeing, waiting, suffering. I know Christ will give us all immortality with patience, endurance. The research and replies here is very heartfelt .

Proves that goodness is in the heart!

Jesus spoke of "Lost sheep" is that us? Someone called him a rabble rouser. A rebellious revolutionist trying to overturn religious structure. Is this kind of like what they would think of this website? I have no religious structure now.

If Jesus said the temple fell, then that left me without a Kingdom Hall.

So, yes, I still think Jesus wants to save people, and without price. Day or hour, nobody knows, but things are getting so morally bad, no more true love, except maybe on Wife Swap, the television show, the couples are running into eachothers arms after seeing the other side.

Of course I wont be running back to the arms of the elders, and sadly not my ex either.

But he was born a Jew. And the leaders of the Jews had their tasseled fine garments, they made lots of money. They were allowing prostitution and sellers at the temple, yet they rigidly held the common people yoked to outrageously expanded laws.

He complained, They rejected him, and he was put to death.

I am hardly wearing dresses anymore , and when I see a suit, I think I see them. I read that Bethel is downprinting to save money. Their laws disfellowshipped me when I divorced.

I think he can return the same way. Does history repeat?

What makes me mad is that they think I will be worshipping Satan or something if I am no longer a Witness, and they wont believe you can be a good person when you leave.

I read in the paper that 66% believe that he could return in 2007.

I think it would be as a normal man, perhaps alive today. Perhaps he'll be so unpopular because he will expose the religious hypocrisy. Kind of like what this forum is accomplishing....I still believe in his return, because after a divorce, and the lack of love in the Hall, I know what a lost sheep feels like, and we have to believe in some hope.

He's going to appear and speak out all the flaws of money making religion, and their pride and lovelessness.

Are you all keeping your belief in the Return of Christ? In what form or way?

Oh, by the way, I did visit a local Bible church, definately more at ease. It made me feel better a little while, But I will be looking more inside of myself for faith?

Thanks so much for your heartfelt encouragement. I dont like, or ever encourage divorce, but I think it is a personal matter that only the husband and wife knows if things get irretrievably impossible, , or too hurtful, then divorce happens.

I know a sad story of a very handsome elder whose wife had been sick for many years. She got so sick that she lost her looks to the severest degree. Whenever they were at the hall he would always have an annoyed uncomfortable look being besides his wife. There was never any affection.

I saw him at a store at midnight, I had to get medicine or something, I was startled to see a family man at that hour, and asked about her, politely wishing her well. He says every night he goes out, kisses his children then gets some snacks and coffee, and it was nice to see me, nice to talk to you , bye." It was polite exchange.

A sister said that his wife cries in bed every night, alone, despondant, depressed ,helpless.

I dont know what they would do.

About the meal, no, they used the verse about not sharing the meal. I am typing from memory, too tired to look up the verse. I remember being a study, and inviting a few over for a pizza party, but it was the time I wasnt baptized so they read me the verse, and declined. And after the divorce, just the two came over to check on me, no one else from my hall came or called after that.

My husband was a newer Witness like me, but they treated him like a jewel. A childless elder treated him like a son. They liked him so much more. I was a pioneer for a short while. I had no scriptual, witness law created grounds for divorce, so I guess that is why they dropped me like a hot potato. I was begging for help for our marriage for so long.

I guess since him and I were showing up at every meeting in our finery, our nice clothes, and we're giving such great speeches, and dramas, what happens when we leave the kingdom hall, your life and feelings and problems beyond the four walls,....they dont care about. They turn a blind eye.

I am looking for a new belief. I was going through a divorce My Hall treated me like doo doo. I was broke and a nervous breakdown, and they shunned me. They have no love when you are hurting, and suffering.

I have been searching the net for new ideas now that I know they are greedy, prideful people. I have been only a Witness for a few years, thank God! So leaving their self righteousness was not difficult.

I think your column is great!! and a solace although I am jumping all around, trying not to think of myself as ex witness. I have little hurt or grudges, but maybe that still will come out when I remember how much I loved the witnesses.

Their laws are so bad that they would not treat me human when I divorced. I am building up my esteem, and trying not to feel evil and outcasted no more. They neglected my marriage problems and would not help me.

I correct myself, two witnesses whom I liked gave me two sacks of groceries, and were worried and kind to me, but they were in the process of moving away, so I was left with my local unloving group.
