OK, let me explain....
by dawg inso, the last few threads i've written have been about telling your families and friends how you feel; many of you have given me the reasons you don't speak out to your families, but i want to tell you the main reason you should.
please let me explain.... .
i keep on stressing this point because how it makes you feel, i'm telling you all, that for over 19 years, i let information about my thoughts out slowly, then the tipping point... at my uncle's funeral 2 february's ago, while listening to my family pontificate at dinner about who so and so is pioneering and the like, it hit me that i was sick to the core of them throwing their bullisi*t beliefs at me like i was inferior or something.

JG< someone else would probably be better suited to answer your question then me... but I read the so called "Proclaimers" book, it's explanation on the mansion in San Diego... it's a lie, and ought right lie.
What would happen if you exposed that lie? Really exposed it and asked them why the book tells such a lie... the prophesy about Abraham, and the "worthies" coming back in 1929 is set in stone... in the "Millions Now Living" book. -

by runningonfaith inhi everyone,been looking for some time,decided to register and give a little contribution.everything helps.in the wbts for 15 years,never bought everything ,some things just never clicked,i was "waiting on jehovah"but eventually things just went worst(or better)and stop attending meetings a year ago.my 3 kids (never baptised)could no be happier,wife still going once a week average,but things changed for her too.we're still in good standing,but i'm thinking of da myself,our familyes are all catholic,so no problem with the shunning thing for us.and for the friends in the truth(friends,yeah right)whatever........

i also didn't find a similar thread search 'last year' either.. if it is based on a jwd thread please post the link........ we all know this person passes on posts from jwd.
i personally would like to see them pass the credit to whom it belongs too but many jws have been told jwd is the mother of all 'apostate' sites.

Son sends "apostate" text message - Now the elders want to talk to him!!
by GoingGoingGone inmy 17 year old son told his dad that he didn't want to be a jw anymore about 8 months ago i think, and doesn't go to meetings or assemblies.
he's been accepted to one of the best universities in the country and will start this fall, with his dad's blessing.
their congregation had the summer convention this past weekend.

Look bro, these men don't have the power over shi*... He can't be forced into a meeting of fools under any current law, he's free do do what the holy hell he wants. Not unless you were saying that under church laws... but it seems this young man has already figured out what a pile of crap this religion is and thus doesn't care. I'd tell them to take a rubber hose and place it directly under their noses.
And don't let daddy dictate this either, if he want to refuse his relationship with you over this crap then let him.
