  Tophat's right, we need a civil war..LOL!

  so, i'm working on a guy's machine today, he starts to talk politics... he says something about the democrats being responsible for the housing problems... "that damned bill clinton" or something like that.

  when i start to explain the fact that this mess was caused by both parties and the effects lobbyists have on the system, he gets heated and starts back in on the democrats... lol!

  i realize very quickly that he's another bts, tophat, or gregor, and there's really no need to continue.

  as most of us know on the board - awhile back the watchtower society printed a brochure called : "charitable planning to benefit kingdom service worldwide.

  " it was written to provide info to witnesses on a variety of ways that gifts may be made to the society presently or at death.

  i have a lurking witness friend on the board who sent me the nov. 15th watchtower and it has an article entitled, " ways in which some choose to give ".

  This organization robs people of achieving all they can in life, it takes their souls by making thinking humans robots to a cause, it destroys families, it makes poeple not have as good of sex lives as they may have without their influence... and then when they die, it takes the money...
  
  
  What will it take for some of you to see, these people are enemies? Save yourselves and your families by taking an open stand against these abhorrent people...damned bastards!

  So, we do need another civil war, I can't stand living in a country with such partisanship... please Republican defenders answer me this?
  
  1) How could the Democrats have caused this problem all by themselves when they didn't control neither house or Senate until 2 years ago? In fact the Republicans controlled both for the 11 previous years... so how is this only a Democratic problem in view of the that fact?
  
  2) Do you Republicans still believe in deregulation, as in no regulation at all; a total capitalist system in light of the recent economic news?
  
  3) Do you on the right still believe that you can prove the existence of a God? Simple question, do you think you have proof?
  
  4) Do you on the right not accept the complete blame for the national debt the last 8 years?
  
  In my mind, we need another civil war if you answer in the following ways... to question one, you actually can't see that both parties are equally responsible for the economic meltdown... 2) You still believe in a completely capitalist system... and three, you not only think you can prove the existence of God, but you think your beliefs about such should be part of politics.
  
  I promised in a previous thread I'd not jump no matter the answers you give, and I kept my word, I'll not jump on this one either as long as you don't name call or talk down... but if you answer in the affirmative, then I want to secede... please lefty posters add anything you want...
  
  And you on the right can voice your needs for a new country also...

  Religulous with Bill Maher…I just saw it

  i dont post much at all any more but i had to mention this, i just got back from seeing religulous and cant remember the last time i laughed so hard.

  it was great!!!!!!

  close-minded religious people should save their money and not go see this movie but instead give your money to the next tv evangelist or street magician you see.

  Here here, and Burns, you have started ignoring anyone that proves you wrong... I can't list how many times people ask you to answer a question they've asked which you conveniently ignore.
  
  Burns is like all JWs, he ignores anything that proves him wrong, then he goes on line (his watchtower) gets quotes from some dimwit that agrees with him, he then proceeds to post a page of crap that has no bearing to the conversation.... and if you have the time to fact check the nonsense, you always find that his sources, much like the "Watchtower" is all rubbish.
  
  But to Burns its proof, its what he wanted to hear so its true... LOL!
  
  I don't fact check you anymore Burns, I come on line here everyday and give you Hades because it makes my day to watch you copy and paste some crap that you think proves your point. I, like many posters here, used to check what you said, used to actually try and reason with you... but you are like a wall and can't learn..
  
  I use you for entertainment now... it's like watching Palin on TV for me... its pure entertainment.,.
  
  I'll leave you with this Burns, somewhere deep inside you, somewhere, Objectivity lies, I hope one day you snap out of your funk, but for now, your like watching a comedy show.

  Why does this statement not surprise me? You know why I listen to Rush Limbaugh? I want to know if what he says holds merit and like him or not he's become a part of our culture.

  there are a lot of dumb organization men.

  gb losch seems to be the top dog for dumbness.. in the local halls i've seen and heard many dumb elders open their mouths.. one elder had a fondness for bible prophecy and watchtower chronology.

  he always speculated on what the "watchtower really means" about a statement in print.

  We used to have a 15 minute intermission after the Sunday talk... you guys remember that?
  
  Well the brother who was doing the announcements said... "Brothers, Sisters, lets all stand and for the next 15 minutes have relations"... me, I was 15..that was right up my alley, I laughed my ass off.
  
  My uncle was visiting, he was a very funny man... he said, "well, I'm going to visit this hall more often"... LOL!
  
  I remember as a young man thinking about a few sisters I wanted to have relations with.. LOL! Hell, I was 15, I wanted to have relations with just about anything... LOL
