  WHY don't Americans realize GUNS are destroying their country?

  usa today everyone has a gun, why?.....to protect themselves...from who?

  other folks with guns!.....yes it's in your laws...but they were written when the british ruled you.

  one school gun killing every week does not happen anywhere else in the world....maybe you need more guns to protect your kids.....one in the lunchbox.....does anyone else see this.

  The same can be said for many inventions that make our lives easier. They soon become something we depend on and consider a necessity of life. Indoor plumbing, electricity, telephones, computers, refrigerators, dishwashers, clothes washers/dryers, microwaves, etc.

  Yes of course but that is beside the point, the point I am trying to make is the only reason that is giving in the media why guns should be banned is that they are use in a wrong way and that leads to the death of innocent people, well the same can be said about cars and not only that cars kill a lot more people then guns in north America we don't see as much debate on the banning of cars but cars kill a lot more people and cause a lot more problems then guns.

  Oh wait...use your gun and go hunting. ;)

  But seriously that is my point, cars are a man made necessity. The way things are now it would be very difficult to live without a car in certain places.

  Others have already pointed this out, but you seem to be missing it. There are at least a couple flaws with your reasoning. First, not all guns are used to commit crimes. In fact the majority of guns are not. Second, outlawing guns does not keep them from criminals. It only keeps guns from law-abiding citizens who wouldn't use them to commit crimes in the first place.

  Anti-Christ... cars are a necessity for most, and for most guns are not a necessity of life. Yes, in some metropolitan areas public transit is good enough that some go without cars. But the majority of America is not like that.

  Absolutely, that's my point. The system is made a certain way so lets not do any thing that will change the status quo. It is only a necessity because the way things work. Food is a real necessity not cars.

  I find it funny how guns are the big evil in the media and cars are ignored. How many problems would be solved if we got rid of cars? How many deaths do we have every day because of cars? The fact that cars run on petroleum based product we have poor air quality in the cities. Why don't we have a ban on cars? Because it makes a lot of money, so lets talk about guns instead.

  What I've found difficult is evolution will have a missing link fossil found proclaim it to the world fit it nicely in their graph and then if it turns up as a living fossil swimming around the ocean they try and explain only part of it's group went on to form a new group/species while the others stayed the same for millions of years.

  First the term "missing link" is used mostly by creationist, you don't need fossils to prove evolution , genetic studies has proving evolution over and over again, no faith required. What you are referring to is in the old evolution creation book publish by the WT . Trust me that is a very bad reference to use to understand evolution.

  Evolution is post predictive they fit the finds to the theory concentrating on what fits ignoring what doesn't, Its just an alternative to faith in God in this case it's faith in creation itself, mother earth it's old religion, time is evolutionists God they say throw enough time at a thing it will change and of course you gotta learn all your ...illion words to sound authentic.

  I'm sorry I don't want to sound insulting but to make a statement like this you seem to not understand evolution very much, I hope you don't get your information from creationist. I suggest you understand something before you reject it.

  the following 2 questions when they arrive at your door with the watchtower society's 'good news' and their jesus (the prehuman angel michael, the human jesus and a resurrected spirit creature [6/15/06 watchtower page 30]) who is 3 persons in one:.

  the first question is, if you truly abstain from blood, how can you belong to a religion that allows parts of blood?.

  the second question is, would you donate blood so that the fractions allowed by the watchtower society could save the life of one of your jehovah's witness brothers or sisters?.

  I was watching a video on youtube about a protest here in Quebec. It was about the ban on blood. A young French JW girl made a comment that I had to respond to. I ask her exactly that question about the blood fractions but she seemed to not understand. She said to me that blood was not accepted, I said I know TOTAL blood is not accepted but fractions are now but were not before, I ask her if the bible changed in some way. She never answered back.

  does yoga have religious elements?

  would it really violate a jw's belief to practice it?

  Like my dad would say "yoga is demonised!" There are different styles of yoga, some "spiritual" some are more of a work out. Yoga helps me with my free diving.

  It was a heart attack. To answer the question of the topic, I think a cross is cool looking but I don't were one, no reason to.

  That was funny, very simple and straight to the point. It show you don't have to go trough a lot of JW doctrine, you just use the bible.
