  as many of you know the active jehovah's witness known as v has a youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/wtcomments .

  v has 27 videos and 1000 subscribers on his channel and over 200,000 views so far.

  his most recent video is a satirical expose of the most recent generation doctrine change.

  I don't understand how this is copyright material. It is a transcript of a public talk it's not a book. Any one can video tape the talk and post it on you tube. Does not the law allow for satire and comment?

  What Stupid Things Were You Counseled For?

  i've always been told that i have a very good personality, that i'm humorous, etc.. one elder called me over and said that i was "smiling too much".

  the other elders talked to the elder who counseled me and he came back to say that i should be like i was .

  During meetings me and my wife would follow from the same bible, I was counseled for that... and my wife was counseled for loving me too much, the elder said she loved me more then Jehober.

  now, this is something i never ever confessed to anyone.

  but i feel the urge to admit that i am addicted, and i am fighting and struggeling every single day for the "good fight".. i havent taken anything for a long time now, so really i am clean.

  but i am felling the addiction increasing every day.

  Working out is good but if you want my advise ( I also liked to get high every day) in some cases the addiction is just a "symptom" it's not the disease try to find out why you like to get high, why you need to numb yourself, what is your personal demon.

  i've been gone for a while but i kind of miss you guys and gals so i decided to see what was up.

  for me i found out a few days ago that in my old congregation the gossip about me ( i was first shocked that there was any gossip about me) is that i have started my own cult and i have a few followers (ex jdubs) wow!

  i fell on my ass!

  slanderous gossip in general seems to be a sort-of bonding experience for small-minded people, i think they are trying to feel more conviction about themselves and are just trying to convince themselves that if the gossipee is a freak (in a bad way), then the gossiper is in the right.

  ...makes sense.

  Yup, the funny thing is that lately some old Jdub friends of mine are becoming inactive and are starting to ask me questions, it's from one of them that I heard about the rumors, I guess if I start to help a few out then the rumors are going to amplify, funny. And yea me putting on a white robe is something I would like to do and yes I did thought of filming it for you tube it would hilarious.

  Thanks lady liberty you are kind, but it does not really bother me it just shock me that they resort to gossip, how hard is it to just give me a call? I'm not Dfed. It's crazy when you see the real side of them, your experience is an example of how the elders really don't give a rats ass about the ones who left the fold, they actually said it was your responsibility to clear your name? Wow! nice shepherding. I guess I should not be surprised it's just sad..for them.

  I actually thought of going to one of the meetings with a white robe and a bunch of friends all dressed the same and sit in the front row

  Jonquiere is nice this time of year.

  Yup, so you know Quebec? I was in Gaspé last week for work and we hit a snow storm in the mountains it was crazy, but that's an other topic.
