I was just in my early teens wen I was introduced to Metallica. My dad kept finding my cassettes and he would smash them up ( after he would "smash" me up) so now I have the Cd's. I wish I still had the original albums. It sure brings back a lot of memories wen I listen to them. It's good stuff.

Some feel to honor God they should go to church or preach the Gospel etc., that's all fine but I believe all one needs to do to honor and worship God is to do right by his fellow and by the earth. If the day should come when a man's future hopes for life depended on his knowing God then God would make himself known to him. For now it is not, for now all we are are fellow travelers trying to make sense of things. To me, the symbiosis, beauty, majesty and complexity and simplicity of life on earth leads to the conclusion that we are not alone, to me this makes sense.
Now that's something I could respect!

Evil is all about perspective. To the ancient Israelites the Egyptians were the bad guys but to the Egyptians the Israelites were called the "evil ones". The bible says that it was god that freed the Israelites but the Egyptians said that the were cast out of Egypt.

by dozy inthe question box in july deals with the internet - mainly concerned with children on myspace & similar sites -mentioning that your child could be talking to paedophiles , dfd ones or even "active apostates" .
the main article deals with the - "exciting" and "thrilling" news of the new wt arrangement (maybe some people should get out more).
nothing new in the article , which has as the sole justification the need no longer to explain "theocratic" terms like "pioneer" , but it does seem that the awake will be tailored more to non-christian people.

I think they are more afraid of the ''active apostates'' than they are of the inactive ones.
An elder said to me once that the most "dangerous apostates" were the ones who were "half" apostates, I guess that means the undercover apostate.

was it the way you were treated, or maybe a teaching that deceived you ?.
i think my 1st deception was when they said that the resurrected ones wouldn't be allowed to get married in the new system.. then i wondered why ???

I think it was all a deception. Lets start with the bible is the word of God.
That was my second deception. My first was wen I did some research in the WT books on a subject I knew quite a bit of. I wanted to see what they had say about it. I realised that ALL of what they said was b.s. and personal opinion. Then I said to myself that all the rest could be b.s.
That's wen I started to find out I was basically lied to all my life.

Lazy teenager....need help before I lose it!!!

we have to get on her constantly to get her room clean, when asked about her progress, her answer is always"i am working on it".
