Just discovered how easy it is to make Cream of Mushroom and Cream of Broccoli soup, especially if you have a boat motor (hand held mixer) or a blender. Most of the recipes include flour, what reason I don't know, it still has a bit of thickness without. Just veg of your choice, onion, garlic and cream and seasonings.

Do you make your own soup?

i have a huge kitchen at my disposal (not my own); vegetables, cans of this and that and spices are scattered about, prepared to go into a cauldron of minestrone i started a few days ago.
i'm preparing ahead so as to freeze the leftovers to heat up later at home over my hotplate.. nothing like a 6-burner gas range to simmer over!.

I signed up with their free membership a couple of years ago just for the laughs, whatta bunch of losers. There's an African brother who has the worse spelling in the world who's looking for his mate so he'll have someone to watch TV with and sing Kingdom songs together . . . sounds like a fine theocratic catch to me !!

Request stories on JW mental health issues
by optimusprime ini am just curious as to how much of a problem mental illness is among jws.
i would like to hear what others have to say regarding their own experiences in this matter.
specifically, i want to know how these individuals were handled in the congregation and whether or not being a jw contributed to the effects on mental illness.. .

When I think about it I'd say that 98 percent of all Dubs are a few sandwiches short of a picnic.
Even the ones that seem to be normal with no obvious mental issues, but if their following that drivel that comes out the GB's ass or mouth, something's wrong somewhere with them.

NSA spying on Vatican! My JW parents are SOO EXCITED!
by BU2B init just came out yesterday that the nsa has spied on the vatican and pope francis.
when i went over my parents house yesterday, you could see the excitement, the energy in their eyes when they talked about it.
my dad even pumped his fist like he won something when he was talking about it.

BU2B - The thing that stands out in your post to me is that you say your parents are almost sixty and explain what they are currently going thru. It seems to me the way you describe it they might as well be going on 90. I guess the reason it stands out to me is that in December I'll be 57 (perhaps the same age as one of your parents) but for some reason your description just about has them in the old folks home, BTW, I'm in no way ready for that, and the same stands true for millions of others in your parents age range. How old are you by the way?

Not if you were a born in and you just happen to killing time at the meeting by standing in the back and reading the bulletin board and you see you are scheduled to give a talk and you ask your mother how did this happen because you know for a fact you didn't join the Ministry School and she lies (in the name of Jehovah of course) and tells you "I thought I told you" . . . !! BTW I was eleven years old when she pulled this stunt.

The bible condemns Christian religions that teach, Wait!
by Crazyguy inknow where in the bible will you find christian religions being condemned for teaching the trinity or hell fire doctrines, but you will find jesus condemning those that come as messiah's or christs (both mean anointed) and declaring 'the time is near'.
you will also find paul cursing anyone that preaches a gospel different then the apostles preached as well as cursing those that change or add to the bible.
oh darn jw's thats you, you fit the bill in all of these!!!!!!
