  Blood sausage

  while visiting our neighbors across the pond, i visited a butcher store to rustle up something for supper.

  that was the first time i had ever seen blood sausage.

  we just never see it over here in the states.. when a witness leaves the organization over there, do they all eat blood sausage once again?

  It's not just a European thing, it's a southern thing as well, there's something called blood or liver pudding I believe, but it's more like sausage and it has the liver and all the other parts you usually toss away, but I love it !!

  I found some in a well known chain meat market here in NYC, I think on the wrapper in said liver pudding, or sausage but it's the same thing..

  Asians use the pork blood as well, I see containers of straight blood in their stores and they sell it in "tofu form" in squares also

  to be honest i figured until i received some pleasure, enjoyment.

  in waking people up on their day off, there was no way i was going.

  to pressure anyone else to do the same.

  SPW - You sound like a faithful servant of Jehovah, so what the Hell or you doing here, as you mentioned previously you can't count time for this so what;s your purpose? You always avoid answering the question beause that's what you JWs think you're good at, but we can see right thru you.

  (BTW I still think SPW is MIz after he took 5,000 volts to head)

  Why do some JW`s get married multiple times ? Isnt that an indictment against jw beleifs ?

  this isnt a slight against any here who have married more than once.

  and of course if you have left the religion you are not bound by their doctrines.. however i am concerned with jehovahs witnesses, people in good standing within the congregation who have married multiple times , and it seems it is not a rare occurence .their seems to be many who have married 2 or 3 times.

  i personally knew a sister that was married 5 times and was a sister in good standing .admittedly this may have been an exception .. however divorce is not an isolated incidence with jehovahs witnesses , nor is it isolated that the witnesses themselves initiate divorce proceedings .. another thing , jehovahs witnesses are only 8 million world, a wide a small sect compared to other major religions.. so i just wonder what the ratio of jw`s compared to mainstream religion is regarding divorce .. can anybody fill in these figures ?

  Congregation I grew up in had a brother that's been DF'd 4 or 5 times, his modus operandi was, get Df'd, reinstated and hooks up with new girlfriend and gets married then a few years later get divorced and Df'd again, repeat process.

  i had a music album by a gay guy before i was a jw and had no problem listening to it.

  it's good music.

  some of the lyrics are what you might call 'gay', that is there's some talk about boyfriends, gay bars, and queens and the intolerance the artist encountered as a gay man.

  What I find interesting about the JWs is that they don't condone homosexuality, but I'm sure every congregation has a few members that were so obviously gay, but when the gossiping Dubs get together and discuss Bro or Sis so and so, and how they 99 percent appear to be playing for the other team, someone always says "well, Jehovah will clean up his organization in due time", so in a way they are condoning it.

  yesterday i was at a supermarket and i walked right in the arms of a nice jw couple.. they are so nice, they could be our family friends, if we went to the congregation.. how it went: mr nice walked by and said "hello" and walked straight on, without looking to me.. his very nice wife smiled and looked surprised to see me, a look only a jw can have, looking to a poor fader like me.. she said "hello, how are you?

  see you, good bye?

  how can these nice people so cold?.

  Reminds me of the time I saw a Bro, but this guy and I practically grew up together, mothers were best friends. I saw him in the meat section of the supermarket and he ducked down with his face smack on the packages of chicken or whatever, I clearly wasn't thinking because I did stand there for a while and walked away, but I should've stayed there, because he would've had to come up for air sometime !!

  And by the way this incident happened after Bro. Pious was reinstated from being Df'd, this oh, so pious brother who used to be in charge of securing speakers for the Sunday talk.

  Splash, You mean to say you heard from 13 desperate sister who decided that since Jah hasn't found them that perfect Brother yet they decided to play for the other team?

  You should tell them about the African brother that I mentioned in my first post here that's searching for the ideal mate. All he wants is someone to watch TV and sing Kingdom songs. . . I'm sure those sisters own a TV and songbook, right?

  Well, I guess the chocolate gene has left my body, as a kid ate as much chocolate as all the others even into early adulthood, but now Ican definitely do without it, if given the choice of a chocolate or vanilla cupcake, vanilla, don't like chocolate cake,

  In the office for birthdays and special occasions the cake was always that chocolate, Mississipi Mud variety, chocolate thru and thru, absolutely disgusting (to me) but everyone else seemed to to totally orgasmic over it.
