spent a lovely day yesterday in nyc with my lovely daughter off of school for spring break.
i like parking on the upper east side near the met.
look at art until mid afternoon or so, then catch a cab down to chinatown or lil italy for late lunch.
THey're all over the subway stations here, I've even noticed at one station here that I frequent, they have backup as in another sister and brother who replace the others when their "shift" is over, all for the sake of getting in that Almighty time !!
You mention that it's impossible to catch a cab going uptown in the evening rush hour, hmmm, not true at all, how do you think the folks that got to work from that location in the morning get back home?
For those of you who think Dubs don't smoke, perhaps the majority of them don't, but I know of a few growing up and I'm not talking about teenagers, grown baptized brothers and sisters who got caught, but were never DAd or reprooved for it.

i have an elderette coming over on friday, for another performance.. last week, i was under the impression that she was coming to answer some questions i had.
it quickly became clear that she came with a plan for the "conversation," and we went on an expedition from one passage of the bible to the next, while she made leaping claims, argued with herself and kept me confused and always with more than one question lingering in my mind, while she continued talking and talking.. when i have a conversation with someone, i tend to stop talking when they are speaking.
I wish she would come to my house ! I'm an expert at talking (or arguing) with them, had plenty experience with my mom.
If she goes on blabbering gibberish just say, excuse me, you still didn't answer my question and repeat it.
If she doesn't let you get a word in edgewise, I believe you said she's coming to visit you, as in your house, so remind her she's not showing you respect under your roof if she doesn't allow you to ask a question

i went with my neighbor to an outdoor shooting range in the pawnee national grasslands in colorado.
its about 2 hours northeast of denver.
it was awesome.
Dazed - When you posted I guess you knew those who are against guns would post as well. Since I'm allowed my opinion as you are yours shooting at a range is one thing, but when they're in your home and you have kids so I'm sure you know that they can find things that you thought were out of there reach, so with that being said, my thoughts of those who have guns and kids in the house, hope I don't see you on the news one night how one kid shot his brother/sister/neighbor, etc., as you well know, it happens.
