  Very sad news - Amber Scorah

  many of you know amber scorah as the ex jw writer who wrote this very inspiring article: http://www.believermag.com/issues/20130 ... cle_scorahshe has been an inspiration to many, many people as they navigate their way through the many feelings and issues that come with leaving the jw cult.amber is also my cousin.on monday, she lost her 3 month old baby son, karl.

  a foundation has been set up to help them face these costs.

  I read the story in the NY Daily News and the name rang a bell because of your post here, I also saw the story covered on the news here just about every night. I didn't open the attachments above when I first read this post. They now say the baby died from SIDS

  Vertigo, WTH.

  I looked up that patch last night, it has a few side effects too it, it is best if you check with your Dr. first. One of the things I read is that people like to use in while on a cruise for dizziness and seasickness, but a lot of Dr.'s on the boats don't like to prescribe it or even keep it on stock because one of the side effects is paranoia and if a passenger gets that while stuck in the middle of the ocean, they'd just rather not be bothered with a case like that.

  Yes, some people can use it successfully, but read up on it first

  I've had vertigo for about thirty years now, so I've just learned to live with it. The only major change I made, and do mean MAJOR was five years ago I stopped drinking 80 proof alcohol, since after a night of having a few I usually wake up with a spinning head. I'm surprised I was able to stop since i always had few drinks every night, guess it was time to cut out 80 proof now that I think about it. Just wine and beer for me now.

  jenny {names changed} loved peter who was younger then me and very handsome.

  Are JWs trying to make dysfunctional kids and destroy their ability to live normal lives?

  are jws trying to make dysfunctional kids that wont "fit" in normal society so they will "return to jehovah"?

  because there have been many stories about young people who have been out in the world only to find how bad it was and how correct the org was.. a good jw kid with "good" jw parents will have many big issues, some examples:.

  fear of demons (fear, misfit).

  I find it hard to believe that Terrence Howard isn't awake.

  for those who don't know, terrence howard is an actor who has had some exposure to "the truth" and has spoken positively about the jw religion in a past interview saying he would become a jw if he could.. i've started watching wayward pines where terrence howard stars as the town sheriff.

  there are some striking cult parallels between the show and some facets of jw cult culture.

  ~ people who try to leave wayward pines are subject to punishment.

  I've heard the Terrence Howard JW story before, I think his mother may have been one. Also, on one of the morning talk shows, although it's been said in certain gossip columns that he's not dealing with a full deck, a certain actress kind of hinted around that that's basically the way the entertainment industry views him as well. With that being said, sounds like perfect JW material to me, he'll blend right in !!

  sugar water will show blue light over the sun.. salt water will show red light over the sun.. our body components, salt sugar water.. blue blood vein and red blood... definition of our body in his form.. this is the evidence, of our god..

  Remember Going Out In Field Service Before Thursday and Friday's Heat-Stroke Convention at Dodger Stadium?

  i don't think the kids will remember going out in field service at your convention's city location helping the fiends do their territory.

  on top of the horrendous heat-stroke sitting at dodger stadium we had to preach earlier in the week!

  i heard some elderly witnesses speaking about "those were the good old days they thought" the grand old time they had while visiting the city of los angeles!

  Well, here on the east coast, I remember the assembly in the summer of either 67-68. It was held at the stadium where the Washington DC Senators used to play. The assembly was for four days and bathroom facilities in the men and women's rooms weren't working. I'm sure now of days no matter what the event that would not be permitted to happen anymore, but the assembly went on as usual. They weren't locked, but they were all filled to the brims with Lord knows want so you did have the option to overflow them at your expense.

  And of course the sickening banter that Sunday after it was all over was, . . .well you can imagine. How Jah's happy people can still assemble without the use of a toilet !!
