This board needs some fluff
by mrsjones5 inok, today i was invited to go my favorite local radio station (94.7 sacramento) and record some stuff about my favorite playlist.
i had submitted this list about a month ago and got the call on monday to come on down to the radio station.
i took my hubby, got to meet the dj (a very cool and nice guy indeed) and just had a very nice time.

Miz Shelby I see you like the Aretha Franklin version of "I Say A Little Prayer" also, many associate it with Dionne Warwick, she's the one that a ratings hit with it but I much prefer Aretha's version.
BTW there's no way I can participate in this thread and just list 7 songs, I would have 77 versions of just a 7-song list.

Is it okay for a JW to handle blood in a medical place of work?
by trailerfitter inhi everyone, i am curious to the stance and opinions of those who are in the know.
my jw partner (we are seperated) applied for and got a job in a hospital working as a phlebotomist,.. odd i thought at first.
as i am aware they collect blood samples and deliver blood to wards for a sister (uk senior nurse term) for administration to patients.

Just the title alone on this post shows what a man made cult/religion the Dubs are! What other religion on earth has such control on their emptyheaded followers that one in the medical profession would even have to ask that?
Blondie your comment above says it all, first they could administer blood then they couldn't, then they can, then they can't. . . absolutely amazing !!

Ok, now it's official Jonesy, i don't know ANY of the songs you listed above (lol) and a few of the other folks listings as well.
Thought I might share with you though what someone said to me quite a while back when we were discussing songs that we like, after I mentioned a few "sistahgirl" said to me" why you like all that white folks music" to which I replied "why shouldn't I" . . . her answer was just a blank stare.

Mrs J - I think we have a generation gap here, I just know two of the songs on your list and I actually like them too! West End Girls and Everything Little Thing She Does is Magic.
I have heard of Brian Ferry, however never heard that song, and the other four groups you mention, never heard of em'

Glenster- Can you post the one where Daffy puts dynamite inside the piano and waits for Bugs to play and when he does he hits the wrong keys so the dynamite doesn't explode, that's when Daffy gets all frustated and goes over to show him the right way to play the song then he hits the key, then he and piano blow up. . the shot of Daffy with his beak completely blown off or on top of his head can't remember gets me to laughing everytime!
btw I think the name of the song they play on the piano is "Those Endearing Young Charms",

Class action lawsuit - how does one get the ball rolling?
by sir82 inunless you've been living under a rock you know that a court in california has found the wts guilty of negligence in covering over child abuse, and the wts has ben ordered to pay $20 million + to the victim.. also, unless you've been living under a rock, you know that there are thousands, probably 10's of thousands, of similar victims of wts coverups regarding sexual abuse still out there.. now that the precedent has been set - now that the wts was not able to settle out of court, and has been found guilty - now that this is international news, and literally millions of people are aware of it - it seems that now may be the time to strike even more deeply.. i am not an attorney, but there are a few who post on the board, and others who have a deeper understanding of legal matters.. what would it take to begin a class action lawsuit against the wts?
how exactly does the process start?
does it matter which state it starts in?

Even if a class action suit did go thru the payout to all the millions of ExJWs who suffered would be about 63 cents per person.
