THe Hall I grew up in originally had windows but covered them up in the 70's.
Just thinking, isn't that a Fire Dept. violation if a bldg has no windows?
i hear many people on this forum say that kh's don't have windows.
but i have never been to one that didn't have windows.
is this only in a certain area or something?.

i would like your thoughts, please..
I went to my dad's in the KH and that was last time I've step foot in one (I stopped going to meetings in the 80's) and he died in the late 90's.
I was running the show for my mom's memorial and made sure I had it in a funeral home instead of a KH
i never had the privilege to serve at bethel .. therefore, community help is greatly appreciated friends.. do the gb members have their own living quarters separate from the average jw?.
does their "busy" schedule permit field service, if yes, how many hours a month?.
how long are their weekly wednesday meetings?.
Sounds like you didn't get around to seeing a lot of NYC, there's plenty of "nature" in the other boroughs besides Manhattan. But if you were in tropical surroundings then I can unerstand your view of the city.

Fulano - what do you mean by "disgusting NY" ??
as we all know, the internet is a real game-changer in allowing us to know the truth about the watch tower and its history.
i always had doubts and it was the internet that presented me with the ever-growing number of individuals who were going through a similar struggle.. i give the internet a 9 in my awakening.
what about you?.
I'm a born-in and stopped going to meetings in the 80's, but the internet is where we all learned the TTATT, so definitely a 10 !
i think they are the most boring people on earth.
they are about as exciting as a dead ant..
Well, there are a few more words that come to mind regarding the Dubs (liars, hypocrites, annoying, etc) before I think boring.
i just worry for my stepkids about their future that way..
I was born-in to da troof and was never baptized. Amazingly my Uber Dub mother never pushed me to, I guess under all that righteousness she could see I really wasn't into it, I guess.
the tim burton film is ready for release.. www.thewrap.com/big-eyes-premiere-finds-audience-howling-at-christoph-waltz-and-amy-adams-dueling-artists/.

I find it funny that my UberDub mother bought some of her pics when I was kid in the 60's and hung them up in my room, and she didn't even know at the time that she was a JW.
Her experience was in the one of the rags in the late 60's or early 70's
i took a hiatus from jwn because the wall started to collapse because i lost several people ive known almost my entire life.
these were people i thought would never die, the lies told by the watchtower is unforgivable!
there was a party i attended keeping a low profile while documenting what was said.
