  Kingdom Hall burned down

  i hear that a hall was burned down in washington state.

  was shot at numerous times.

  is the wbts that desperate to merge congo's and collect insurance money and now the land has no building on it the land can be sold with no demo expense.

  I have the feeling that whoever doing this either a former Dub or someone being shunned by their family or someone who has a relative that was effected by the blood rule, I don't think this person is a complete stranger to da troof. The average person really doesn't care about the Dubs.

  Coffee really is magic

  I'm sitting here doing the same thing with my cuppa Joe. Trying to figure out which mall I should hit this afternoon or should I wait until the after Xmas sales - instead of thinking about the obvious FS I missed this morning and getting ready to sit through another two hours of total lies and drivel. Life is good without Borg !!

  Commuter Bethelite video

  for those who missed last weeks clam meeting, there was a video played that was amazing ... however not in good way.. we are all aware how thousands of full time bethelites world wide got the boot and put out onto the street.

  some having giving most of their lives to the organization, but often with no real way to support themselves other than to depend on the generosity of others.

  so when this video talked about how special it would be for those who could step up and become a commuter bethelite, it made me think how calculating the governing body must be.

  I remember an older Elder couple and his wife, his children would now be early and late 70's, but I remember him saying when they first got married they held off from having kids because of the Society. That is so, so said that many couple who desperately wanted kids thought they were doing what Jehovah wanted them to do when it was just 7 old guys in Brooklyn writing bogus rules after finishing a bottle of bourbon.

  Oh yes, good ol' rendezvous. That guidance from the holy spirit to call the "area study" as we used to call it or Tuesday night mtg at someone's home didn't last a year if that long. I guess Jehover spoke to Knorr one night after having a couple shots of some bourbon to help with sleep of course and told him don't use that word anymore.

  I've always while growing up in the Borg that they always said "the organization". that should tell you something right there. Do Catholics and Lutherans and others refer to their religion as the organization? That tells you it's not actual "religion" right there. I asked my mother about than once and he had no answer.

  Crazy ass cart witnessing!

  i know i know we have all read about it but my mom goes out in service to this crazy cart witnessing crap.

  so they go sit by the cart for a half hour then they get back into the car to warm up and the next two sisters take over for a half hours etc.

  but then there is at least one brother siting in his car to watch and over see the sisters so he can be like their security.

  Some of these subway stations in NYC are a JWs dream when it comes to getting their time in.

  Some stations have three cart setups right across from each other, not two but three !!

  Some stations even have tables set up and then about 20 or so feet away is cart, totally unbelievable.

  I'm over 50 and I got all my vaccinations, way back then I'm sure there weren't as many as there are today anyway. What were the vax opinions of the Dubs way back then I don't know. They flip flop back and forth, so I guess they didn't care back then or I guess my Uber Dub mom would've been against them.

  This is now my favorite time of year! I'm a born in and when I was growing up my father was a UBM so I have memories of the holidays with family and friends gatherings and presents, up until the teen years and everyone was grown, and the folks that used to cook that big meal got tired of doing that because their kids were grown and so on. So during my teen years until I moved out my parents house that when the holidays got to be a boring. When I moved out I have always done something special on the holiday and my birthday which just happens to be two weeks before Christmas, So between Thanksgiving and New Years I celebrate each holiday.

  One thing I've gotten accustomed to doing every Xmas eve for some reason is watch the Mass from St. Patrick's here in New York, don't know about the rest of the country, but it's televised here every year. I've been watching faithfully watching for almost 20 years now.

  Films with nudity

  i guess every jw has a different conscience on the matter, and i don't believe any jw publications have ever specifically mentioned nudity in film as being off limits.

  of course genitals are out of the question because that's usually relegated to r movies which most good jws don't view.

  female toplessness is condoned but not spoken about, as most jws i know have seen titanic and many own it.

  Are you sure he didn't know what a naked women looked like until he was 30, even the pompous elders that will counsel you and tell it's a sin to shoot one off every now and then knew what a naked women looked like well before they were 30
