  my friend has been married 25 years.

  he works with another jw.

  they kissed and he touched her nipples but did not have sex with her.

  My friend has been married 25 years. He works with another JW. They kissed and he touched her nipples but did not have sex with her. They ended the affair and he is staying with his wife. They say he is guilty of Lose Conduct and are putting him thru a JC. Is this the case? She is married and is staying with her husband. What can he expect? Can He get Dfed? He wants to stay with his wife and not get DFed

  qfr could a christians practice of viewing pornography.

  become so bad that it results in his being expelled.

  I think this is a very dangerous stand they are taking on porn.... This can result in many things

  1. A lot of Dfing's because of Porn

  2. More adulthery because people do not have an outlet for their frustrations in unhappy marriages etc.

  3. People not coming forward about their porn habbits and a general moral decay will occur, they will cover up or lie about little things like porn viewing then they will do bigger things like commit fornication and justify that since they didn't say anything about their porn viewing why should they about the fornication.

  This is a policy that will have to be retracted, what do you think?

  Blackballed by the Elders

  maybe it's just by one of the elders..... he told someone not to help me out because i did not heed council (almost 2 yrs ago i was counciled).

  and maybe i would take advantage of them because he doesn't know my "status" i was thinking about returning evil for evil..... what if i got a disfellowshipping form, filled it out with his info and sent it to the branch.... you think that would work?.

  The wife thing isn't going too well... she cheated on me but only got reproved, which is fine I would never want her to go thru it again.... We aren't together. I stay for family reasons. I don't know what else to say I feel really "beat up" by these people and controlled

  I just want a "normal" family

  i have a mother in law that doesn't like me because i'm not an elder and i don't study enough.... i think worldly people have bigger problems in their marriage!

  did you ever just want a "normal" family?

  i don't have to celebrate christmas, but i just want people that care about and accept me for who i am!

  an elder once said that a key thing they are trying to determine in a judicial committee is if the offender's "repentance level" matches the seriousness of their sin.

  for example if they committed fornication that is a serious sin (an 8 or 9).

  they want to see the offender showing a repentance level of 8 or 9.

  I agree.... my thoughts on this procedure is that it was trickled down from one of the "heavys" at bethel thru the "elder school" it's one of those things... this is what's in print but this is what we do!

  All of the above is quoted from what the elder said.

  This isn't found in the Pay Attention to Yourselves book, but I have heard it before. It doesn't really make sense to me, what are your thoughts?
