  Anti-Evolutionists Wanted !!!!

  there is an evolution question bubbling up down the threads a little way, and it minded me to try to really get to the nub of the opposition to the technique.. i would like to pose very serious questions, and i hope they attracts serious, considered responses - once and for all.. why is it impossible, in the minds of anti-evolutionists, that god did indeed create us, the earth, the sun, and everything around us including the entire physical universe, and that evolution was his technique; evolution as a divine technique?

  how do you know, how are you so certain that's not the case?

  how would you explain your opposition to god if he told you personally that, yep, that's the way he did it alright?.

  So they got the fruit wrong :) But in the overall view they are the same :) Would old testament people understand anything different? What would Adam think if God told him he came from mold? If you think of it, we are made from the earth, so God is perfectly ok saying that he made Adam from clay :) Maybe its a little Lawyer like, but God can do whatever he wants :)

  When it comes to the flood, what if the flood was only in their area?? They would assume that it was everywhere else also! Common, we are taking 5-6 thousand years ago, people had very little knowledge. Which brings me to the point of people saying "if the Bible was true, God would have put stars+dna+physics .etc.etc.etc. in it......"

  Lets use some common sense. If Jesus started telling people about nuclear fission/ physics/ chemistry/ dna etc etc they would have thought he was nuts!!! Its like people expect to find passages in the bible reflecting AIDS, gas mileage, PC repair, abortion, the environment, styrofoam, home stereo equipment, the latest dvds, britney's new outfit...etc...etc.....

  These are all new problems that where not around in Biblical times and yet people assume that they should be there. Then you have other religious groups making their own 'new' books to address these problems (mormons). Maybe people should not pick the Bible apart piece by piece and just accept its MEANING, and its TEACHINGS about GOD's love. It is not some guide to wash your laundry nor is it some encylopedia of world knowledge.

  I fail to see how the Bible conflicts with evolution. If anything they support each other. In the bible, you have the plants, then the fish, then the animals, and then Man. Isnt this the same view as evolution?

  You could take this one step further: science also agree's with the bible creation story. First we have darkness then light (big bang), then there was the earth, then the oceans, and air yada yada yada. This sequence of Biblical creation matches the scientific creation theory. The only thing science cannot answer is 'If the big bang was the beginning of everything, how did it start?" God started it :)

  It seems that people fight over the little things and cant see the bigger picture. 'Oh the earth is 6000 years old so evolution cant be right' This is very silly. Or 'No one has seen God so he isnt real', has anyone here seen the Big Bang??

  In the big picture, science and religion support each other- just one calls a chicken a chicken and the other calls it Gallus domesticus .

  I hope everyone had a great 4th! I was a little bugged that my buddy couldnt join our 4th BBQ :( I dont expect him to join us for Christmas either *pagan*! Well that got me to thinking. I know he wears a wedding ring (which is pagan) so I got to thinking, what other pagan things do JW's use? Simple! The days and months!!

  So we can see that except for September thru December, all the months are either named after Gods or Named after PAGAN Roman dictactors! What fun!

  Soooo If the days of the week and months of the year are PAGAN, then why do JW's use them? Shouldnt JW's come up with some new system of naming the days???????? If not, my buddy should be able to join me for BBQ's.

  So jack the ripper had some good in him because all yang has a little ying and all ying has a little yang. Hmmmm hard to say if he (who ever he was) had some good in him. But just like no one is perfect, one could argue that no one is 100% wrong. But we are talking about 'Heavenly' things here. As for God being Absolute good- hes has done some very mean things! He has BBQ'd many people!! Oh well, he is God and he can do anthing he wants :) Jesus on the other hand was/is 100% good. The Devil/Satan was/is 100% bad (that is unless you buy his pitiful 'Gods picking on me' crap.

  The economic conditions that plagued GERMANY after WWI were brought about by the Allies in WWI. They demanded that GERMANY pay for the entire war (which of course was impossible). Thats what brought about the GERMAN depression (which had nothing to do with the US depression of 1929- Which in reality helped the United States with new SEC rules and numerious Gov. Projects such as dams and roads---oh no electricity is bad! Its not in the bible) and the rise of Hitler. Your poor knowledge of history shows once again. After WWII, the US rebuilt Japan, Germany, and Italy. The US knew that if the Axis was forced to pay for the war they would be bankrupt and the cycle of hate would start again. The post WWII economy BOOMED not GLOOMED.

  The UPS and DOWNS are called THE BUSINESS CYCLE, not END OF WORLD. Take a business class (OH NO EDUCATION) and learn something.

  Here's why: Just this year, in order to meet the interest payments on the total debt in America, corporate and consumer, as well as government debt, will require over 7 trillion dollars. That's way over half of the GDP of the U.S. necessary just to make the interest obligations coming due in the short term. That's impossible. That's why these giant debt-bloated companies are rolling over and going belly up, on the average of one per week. They simply can't meet the enormous debt load that they took on during the bubble phase. And the biggies are yet to blow. We are still just in the second tier so far. Wait until the likes of IMB and GE and JP Morgan blow out. GE has like ten times the debt of WorldCon. And, rumors are beginning to swirl about 'accounting irregularities,' aka fraud, in the world's most capitalized company. And Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac are out there too.

  What it comes down to, as far as you should be concerned, is that once the financial system is ripped apart the only way the Anglo-American establishment will be able to stay in power is through nuclear war, which of course they are preparing for at this very moment. That has some bit of relevance to prophecy. That makes apostate dubs appear all the more delusional. / You Know

But at least JW's wouldnt have to fight- hey neither would the women!) Revelations talks about a 1000 years of peace when Jesus returns. Somehow, a nuclear war (or WWI, or WWII, or Vietnam, etc etc) does not seem to fit into a 1000 years of peace. Also, Revelations states that no man would know the time of the end but yet here you are trying to predict it! Lets not forget the official (always wrong) JW predictions! That conflicts with Revalations to! Why do you bother to mislead people with these bogus predictions when the Bible clearly states that no one will no until it occurs?????
