  the house was full yesterday!family,friends,ice cold molson canadian beer,and crown royal canadian whiskey.you need plenty of refreshments to celebrate canada`s birthday!

  patriot......the only country i would live in is new zealand....it is beautiful, it is a slow pace of life and it is pretty neutral when it comes to world factions......... i too knew people who lost their lives last years tradegy.....and a girls uncle who was on the second plane that hit..i went to 3 funerals becasue of it...it iwas horrible....and i sooooo surprised that uk has not been hit by these so-called holy warriors yet as they are so closely connected with the us.. anyway....talking about beer...a great bar in manhattan is the ginger man on 36th street between 5th and madison..you should check it out !

  Pro:

  Just because we have lots of money doesnt make us a world 'power'. Yes, it helps, but as they say money isnt everything. Until the End of WWII, the US wasnt a military power. Yes, we had great economy but we had a pitiful military. The Swiss have a lot of money but a piss ass military! Many countries have a higher GNP than IRAQ and yet have a weaker military.

  The point I am making is that MONEY does not EQUAL world power. China's $$$$ is nothing compared to ours, but yet they are a world power. Do you think we could take over China??? So how could we be this great babylon?? We couldnt take over a 1/8 of the world if we tried. YES, we could DESTROY the earth with NUKES, but then again so could the USSR. I hate to break it to you but we do not control the earth.

  here is what this "special topic" describes with deadly false propaganda.. "a person might ask why we would single out the witnesses in this matter.

  as with other fundamentalist cults, the watchtower goes by the bible advice only when it comes to exposing crimes regarding children or anyone else, that there must be two or more witnesses to a crime.

  since abuse and molestation are rarely seen by anyone other than the perpetrator and the victim (and the victim will rarely testify against himself), perhaps hundreds or thousands of cases have gone unpunished, and the perpetrator has not been brought to the police, and the congregation has not been told.

  i for one actually agree with the comments made by invisible, americans on the whole are a nation that dominates the world through bullying.. america is the big kid in the playground nicking everyones lunch money.. i live in the us but will move away soon.

  what happened on 9/11 was unbelievably , god awful and so sickening that i cant watch those planes hit the twin towers without feeling nauseated.. this may hurt but.........america brought his on themselves.

  the world has had enough of their politics their machoism and their greed.

  Yes, I do agree to some extent that some 3rd world countries have suffered do to our policies. However, if you look at the good things this country has done for the world, I would argue that they outweigh the bad. Yes, the ends do justify the means. Also, being that we are such a 'world power', we have behaved a hellava lot better that the other 'super powers.' Imagine if the leaders of iraq, panama, sierra leone, rawanda, iran, chile, solmalia etc. etc. had the type of military we do! Think of the MILLIONS of people they would kill! For the amount of 'killing power' we posses, I would have to say that we have been pretty responsible.
