  Is this strange or not?

  just for the fun of it, i typed my aka (outoftheorg) into the msn search engine.

  it brought up one of the lasts posts i put on this forum.

  i tried it on google and got nothing.. then i put in outnfree on msn and 3 of his posts on this forum were displayed.. it only displays the title of the thread/post and the url.. what do you think?

  COOKBOOK First Draft is off to a publisher

  i just sent the first draft of the cookbook to an e-publisher to see if they will accept it.. late submissions will still be accepted and can still be added to the book before turning it into a pdf file.. but the first draft gives them an opportunity to take a look at it and see if it meets their standards.

  and it gives me a chance to make any improvements they might suggest.. so cross your fingers.

  Pirates! Johnny Depp

  i really liked it (i don't ask a lot in a movie...escapist entertainment's what i'm after).

  i thought johnny depp rocked as the rather swishy, funny pirate captain.

  orlando bloom is turning into quite the attractive young man...after that last scene, i can see him in musketeer garb.. looking forward to the league of extraordinary gentlemen (love sean connery)...heard it's not great, but like i said, escapist entertainment).

  The original post did indeed ask a good question, which is worth more consideration. And yes, it's being ignored because of the poster. Or to put it perhaps a little more on target: it's being ignored because of the poster's modus operandi: giving out private information indiscriminately. It's not "kill the messenger", but rather "the messenger ruins the message".

  Hello Waiting:

  The problem was not with the initial posting regarding Mr. Simpson, but with a subsequent posting that disclosed information that the posters involved would rather not have disclosed. Scully has now edited that information out.

  So, we are not "killing the messenger" as you put it, but just exercising our preference to preserve our privacy.

  I would like to echo Scully. Please do not disclose any information about me or my activities for which you have not received express permission. There are reasons why certain information is kept off of publically accessible discussion boards, and indiscriminate posting of information can curtail or even stop projects. Plus, as Scully pointed out, listing my email address in your bulletins infers some form of association with your group, which I do not wish.

  In future, please get the permission of whoever it is that you refer to in your postings/bulletins/newsletters. It's the sensible, prudent, and polite thing to do.

  Personally I think Mr. Sydlik should be a bit worried. After all, the God he worships is one who zaps a guy for stretching out his hand to stop God's stuff falling to the ground. A bit of trying to be helpful and all that's left is a smoking grease stain.

  Putting God on hold while you indulge in a blubber is definitely pushing Jehovah's Hulk buttons, if you ask me.
