so many christians highlight love and mercy as the main point of their religion.. that's undeniably appealing.. but is it true to christianity?.
in the end, isn't the belief all about escaping god's violent wrath?
aren't those that are unable to accept the system's contradictions and absurdities promised suffering and eventual destruction as punishment for their disbelief?.

Welcome, SadFox.
I am glad you did not do yourself in 5 years ago.
Sadly, many see no other way out.
Glad you're here.

they have a live band and lots of singing goes on there.
I am very happy for you, Maddie.

my wife planned to get her two-hours of service time on saturday - like we did every month.
two hours.
well, yesterday she came home early with sad news.
I wonder what would prompt a 14 year old grandson to inquire about his Gramma, "Would it make gramma happy if I died?" True story after Gramma Coocoo turned her back on her family. In a way, the answer is, yes. But, of course she would prefer him to go volunteer for a publishing corporation to get his ticket to paradise.
I certainly don't lump all JWs together. And, I don't think the question makes all ex-jw's look bad. For many years after I was DF'd I looked at the dead ones as the lucky ones. They were going to get to come back. I was the one stuck here waiting for Armageddon and I would never see them again. I have mourned the loss of many.

Or maybe some think, no biggie. We'll see him soon enough in the paradise.
I've seen it with my own eyes.

i was driving the lady next door to garage sales, i cant get out of the car cos i am not walking very well.
but it was on a very steep hill.facing up hill, when she got back in the car i tried to drive forward, it kept going backwards downhill,it was awful,i thought i would kill the old lady, she was as white as a sheet ( she is 86) so i shouted out to a man, " can you help me please " he ran over & while it was slowly going backwards (hand brake on, )he jumped in & said well you didnt have the motor turned on (blush!!!blush!!!!

Oh, Mouthy! I'm glad you're OK but really there must be better ways to save on petrol! lol Thanks for the laugh this morning.
When I lived in S. Florida the old folk were always creating drive- through windows where none existed. It was a daily occurance.

i'm feeling rejected and hurt because i've just been informed that i am not invited to my little sisters wedding.
first, here's a little background story on my relationship with her: she and i are three years apart.
when we were younger we were very close (i was in the "truth" back then).
You guys are too nice but, probably right. Sorry about your troubles, luna.
I would show up at the wedding and throw cooked rice at the "happy couple" as they exited the Kingdumb Hall.

hello my friend,.
i was reading through a few of your past posts in an effort to get to know the christ better and i have a question.
according to one of your posts from 2003 you tell us that being publically ridiculed or disbelieved by apostates is a fullfilment of prophesy.
SpaghettiMan, you have to dig deeper to understand the cross dressing dumpster diving Messiah. It ain't easy!
Hi, JC !

i've known that for years, but now you all do!!.
love you, janet.
are you looking for our handbasket?.
