Is it a requirement for both the groom and the bride to be bapitsed JWs in order to get married at a KH? If so, does anyone know if this was a requirement back in the mid- 1970's?

Welcome FnB. That's exactly what JWD is helping me to do. I know that one day I will not need to read here, and share my experiences here, and that will be a good thing. However, there is a wealth of knowledge and good here and, I think true love shown here. Now, some here might call it christian and others don't. So what? This forum is helping me heal. What's the big deal?

Low carb...............high protein diet
by vitty inok so now im more confused than ever.................... i have found out information that says you should eat 1gram of protein to every lb you weigh...............ok i can do that , i thought.
4oz--100gram chicken breast, thats not a lot, but that is not how its calculated .
100 grams of chicken is only 14 g protein.. so if i ate only chicken for a day say 10oz--300 gram................= 1,120 calories ( my limit ) its only 42 grams of protein.. can anyone explain it, have i got it wrong .

I did the Atkin's diet back in the 1990's and lost almost 50 lbs. It was a hard diet to follow and I put almost all the weight back on when I stopped eating that way.
I started to follow the South Beach diet in July 2006 and find it much easier to handle. Great cookbooks, easy recipes. I cheat here and there but I am back down to my goal weight with a 32" waist. (from 38-40) South Beach works best for me. I wish you all the best.

I am very excited that ALL my brothers and sisters and ALL nieces and nephews are coming for a visit! This town will never be the same. The best part is I don't have to cook. My sisters are preparing everything and hauling it up here. I can't wait. There will be 18 of us at my home for dinner. We'll take a group photo around our easter baskets while wearing easter bonnets and send it to the shunner!
