from a logical point....i notice that in these threads that there are few here who dont believe in god..but i hate to tell you your dead wrong for having such an ignorant belief like that..instead ya,ll are blaming religion, people, and your personal problems for your lack of faith in god..thats dead wrong.

the non-believers are not looking at the whole picture..just the present..the things that go on in the world happen for a reason and it doesnt mean god doesnt exist.

the bible says "the fool has said in his heart god doesnt exist".

Showing Concern for Posters we Haven't Heard Lately.Do You Know Some?

mrs. flipper and i were talking about this today.

since our dear friend core 88 has been feeling downhearted, my wife and i thought who else have we not heard from lately that could use some acknowledgement to let them know we all are thinking about them?

can you folks think of some posters who might be down or need to be helped to see they are needed or cared about when we don't hear from them?

I think about Frannie and Brother Apostate, right off. I've seen the pics of BA's garden paradise and this being summer, I just assume the best that he is out toiling in paradise. I hope he begins posting again when the weather changes.

I remember Frannie got upset and left then came back and now I haven't seen her here in a while. I'm sure she's fine.

Paper asked me to write personal take on 25th Anniversary of Pride

by donald dhaene a little more then a decade after the stonewall riots in new york began the modern gay rights movement, i came this close to participating in londons first gay pride event, a picnic on a sunday afternoon in gibbons park.

that first year, i still hadnt met a real, live homosexual or so i had thought.. other than being raised on their eternal damnation, my only introduction was when my public schools years-ahead-of-her-time librarian held up for us eighth graders a special book on homosexuality.. i swear she winked in my direction as she matter-of-factly suggested, if you receive your parents permission, you may sit in my office and read it.

I paticipated in a Gay Pride Parades in NYC from 1978 till about 1984. It got so crazy with everyone trying to out shock one another. I think it kind of lost it's meaning and made gays look like wierdos so because of that and I stopped going. After I moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida I attended some really good Pride Events that were a little tamer.
