  what was the strangest/worst counsel you recieved from elders ?

  having been in the organization for 30 years, after i got out i reflected on this.

  as a teenager i was told to not let my hair grow over my ears because i might stumble other young ones in the congregation.

  also, in order to carry the microphones i was told i couldn't wear white socks, had to wear black or dark blue socks.

  yeah, it used to crack me up when the elders would tell women, espically young girls their dresses were to short. WHY THE HELL ARE YOU LOOKING AT THEIR LEGS PERVERT?!?!?!?!!?

  in latin america, countless boys are named jesus either as a first name or second name.

  favorite weird foods

  i don't know if this has been done here yet, but, anyone ever go on a hunch and order something out of the ordinary, you weren't sure you'd like, then it becomes of of your favorite foods?

  i had a steak yesterday, i like steak, and it had raw oysters in it.

  i love raw oysters, but, together?

  horrible life. crumble crackers and lemon juice in your hand, also, if you have crawfish here, we use alot of spice. make sure you wash up good before any intimate contact. yeeeowwwww. also, guys, wash really good before using the restroom.

  is heaven different for everyone? i mean, siting on a cloud, slaving away isn't my idea of heaven.

  my heaven would be topless big breasted women serving me hot wings drenched in blue cheese and cold beer.

  since being open to the truth abou da troof, whenever i read watchtower articles, their titles are always combinations of the same thing, just rehatched and modified to say teh same exact thing... does anybody get what i mean?.

  serve jehovah and have ever-lasting peace!.

  serve jehovah and keep and mild spirit, always remembering jesus christ is your lord!.

  i just received an email from knocking director with the following message.. important copyright note .

  please note that the knocking dvd is copyright protected and it is unlawful to make copies of the dvd, even if you are making copies for friends/family and have no intention of selling the copies.

  there are reports that a number of people have been making copies of the dvd, under the assumption that it is ok for "educational purposes" or to give as gifts to friends and family.

  haha horrible life. a few weeks ago, i was in a bar, and they were boiling crawfish. there were a bunch of people from new york and scotland in there. they looked at us like we were nuts when we started eating. after we got them to try it, they couldn't get enough. the things we eat are weird to most, but, we know how to make them yummie. lol here's what they look like for those that don't know.

  sleep apnea

  well guys, i had a sleep test last night, and it's confirmed, i have sleep apnea.

  does anyone else suffer from this?

  does c-pap work that good as promised?

  i am a big guy, but not obese. i am working on losing the few extra pounds. it's just,half the people i talk to, say cpap is the best thing ever, the other say they couldn't use it.
