Interesting theory. One thing that has me thinking is, the number has gone up 347 for the 2007 service year. They now have over 9100 anointed. This does not look good for them, raises questions. So the question is if they are willing to "cook the books" in the future regarding this number, why haven't they not done this now? I mean why show an increase? Just keep the anoited numbers showing a very small decrease every year, eventhough it's really going up, that way no one will question the current increase and everyone still thinks we're in the end. Just doesn't make any sence to me.

saw 1914. at one time they had to be at the age of discernment 12 to 14 years old.

Can some of you that are pro's at the 607 issue help me in really simple terms show her that regardless of 537 being recognized as true, it still doesn't prove 607. Thank you in advance.

Good JW Growth for 2007

i must say i was surprised with the impressive growth, not only worldwide, but in the developing countries which have seen some decrease in the last few years.

At this moment, I have not seen the actual breakdown of the numbers. What I did see was that they are still slightly short of 7 million on a worldwide peak basis.
And there is a reason why they are experiencing growth, even in developed countries. It's called The Fake Time Report Slip. Not only are children and teens coerced into joining the membership, but many who have left and become inactive are getting fake time slips turned in on their behalf. The accountants are responsible before the hounder-hounder; when he shows up, he doesn't like to see inactives and irregulars. So, the accountants are under pressure. When they can't pressure the publisher to do real time or report their own fake time, they will write up a slip with fake time on the publisher's behalf. That makes the numbers look better, and thus keeps the hounder-hounder off their backs.
With this in mind, one only has to look back to Enron. They doctored their numbers so they could inflate their stock prices. Eventually they began having trouble paying bills, and the truth came to light suddenly. At once, the stock price for Enron crashed, and the company went belly-up. The CEOs went to jail for that. Perhaps the same will happen to the Watchtower Society. Since they need money to run, and they have only so much property to consume, when the money runs out...Come on now, let's not make things up unless we have actual proof of what your saying. Lurking JW'S reading this will never take anything serious when we start saying things like this just out of the air. Let's not get upset because of their numbers. If they had growth so be it. It's just a matter of time before the honest ones still inside will start to know something is wrong the WTS. Just give it time.

OFFICIAL REPORT STATS WANTED FOR 2007 NOT 2006!!!

however, this link is for the 2006 stats which were published in the february 1st 2007 watchtower.. as made clear in an earlier thread, i'm looking for the 2007 stats which, for the first time, will not be published in the watchtower but which will be confined to the 2008 jw yearbook and our kingdom ministry insert.. are those stats available yet??

Was at a recent Circut Assembly. The last speaker said that we had a good year as far as numbers. I believe he mentioned that we're at 6.9mil members, over 100,000 cong., over 17mil in attendence at the memorial, over 5,000 baptized every week.

We need to continue the Watchtower Summary to keep showing the countinuing lies and double speak of these people. We need not be rude or show hatred in these summaries but continue to be honest and show total proof of the lies they spew out there.
