yes, friends, you heard it correctly: after jackson spent thanksgiving weekend in the hospital, and after jennie got strep throat the weekend after, our jackson is continuing the madness and mayhem.
he says he got "silly" at school and stuck a bean in his ear, and then panicked when he couldn't get it out.
we took him to the minor emergency clinic and were told that they can't get it out either because it's waaaaayyy up in the ear canal.
I have a nephew that stuck a sunflower seed up his nose when he was about 4.
My sister took him to the doctor, and after about 30 minutes the doctor was everso carefully pulling it out when.....SNIFF!!! up the nasal passage it went again.
My sister said she has never seen an angrier look than what was on that doctors face....another 15 minutes later and it was out hahah
you know, the other day i found myself in a 'uh?
' moment when i heard something that i never knew and/ or was led to believe in order to behave accordingly.

it is extremely interesting, and while it is fiction, has a lot of things in it that are supposed to be accurate...a lot to do with symbolism in art, much relating to whether jesus was a mortal man...and if he....oooops i dont want to give it away.. i am just curious what others think of it.
it is a book that is causing a bit of a stir with many because it states that the bible was "not a fax from heaven" etc, and that the books of the new testament were put together at the council of nicea, and constatine had a heavy hand in deciding with the council what gospels made it into the new testament and what did not...very interesting.. i would love to get my hands on some of the gnostic gospels but i am not sure where to look.

well, it's been a long time coming, but my publisher just sent me the proof for the cover of my sci-fi novel today, and it looks fantastic!

on the serious side....joker is probably stirring up a hornest for fun...hey dont we all once in a while (i am still waiting for my thread hijacker tshirt) but i cannot tell you how many people every day i talk to that were making good money not too long ago that are on the skids looking for a decent job.
you dont have to be a slacker to be unemployed joker...yes, maybe some of us have too much time on our hands...but i have a feeling the majority of people that post a lot on this board are just really good multi-taskers.
Lucky, most of the wealthy ones I know became that way first, like you said, or else are from money.

it seems that some think that "happy holidays" is more politically correct than "merry christmas.
" they take offense to the word christ in christmas and want to replace it.
personally, i think we should keep the words.
I dunno...good question....I use both every now and then. If I know some one is Jewish I may say happy chaunaka (sorry for the spelling), but I would not be offend if someone said happy chaunaka to me, or happy kwanza...
freedom of speech and all that...happy holidays is great, but if someone gets offended because you wish them well...then they have a stick up there butt any way. Seriously, when I was a witness if someone said merry xmas to me, I just said thank you and we all got along.
