I think the Jackson's version of Jehovah's Witnesses vary a great deal from mainstream witnesses. They are just wackos....even more than the normal witnesses.

Michael Jackson's Belt...
by sunstarr ini've seen several reports (tv and magazines) that michael jackson recently wore a belt to court that had five crowns hanging from it.
the reports said that his mother told him to wear it because the five crowns is a jw belief that represents rightousness.
i was a jw for 21 years, and left only 4 years ago.

Jesus' Resurrection, shouldn't that also be celebrated?
by JH injesus was the first one to resurrect for eternal life.
every christian religion celebrates jesus' resurrection.
why don't the witnesses also celebrate this important event?

Wow...this is so funny that this is posted here today. I was driving home from Wal-Mart today, wondering the same thing. Why the heck doesn't anyone rejoice over that? I mean, that is Jesus' reward isn't it? He held up his end of the bargain...off he goes to his promotion!

It's time thay they thank Jesus personally
by Samson init's interesting to me that as a jw you aren't able to say thank you to jesus personally.
that would be considered praying to him would it not?
if he were here again as a man then it would be o.k.

okay, here goes.
(ahem, cough...clearing throat)
Jesus: whether you are really god's son, god, or just another human that was able to change the world (a much more powerful martin luther king jr) I say THANK YOU! You really kicked things up a notch! Some for the good, some for the not so good...but I believe your intentions were pure. Despite all the warped things religion has done to your imagine, you are a good guy in my book, and even though I don't consider myself "christian" I personally learned from your teachings about forgiveness, and knowing that sometimes it really is better to turn the other cheek. Cannot agree with you on all the decisions you made, BUT I respect the fact that you were a man that made a stand. If we could all live up to the principles we believed in, we would all be better humans.
So, THANKS, DUDE!

Hmmm...so let me get this straight...she was married when he started seeing her, and he expected her to stay faithful once they got married?
Sound like he got rich after they got married....hmmm...so that probably had a LOT to do with the fact that she got so much.
If her infidelity wasn't the only problem, sounds like the infidelity was the straw the broke the camel's back. Cheating is BAD BAD BAD!!! of course..now, if he had been rich BEFORE they got married...I would have said...PRENUPITIAL...that's what they are for.

by Eyebrow2 ini am a huge fan of craigslist.org, and was pleasantly amused when i read that craigslist.org had the first commercial beamed into outer space, hahah.
http://www.cnn.com/2005/tech/space/03/23/craigslist.space/index.html.
in that article, it had a link to another company called http://www.talktoaliens.com/ you can now broadcast your emails or even a phone call to outer space.. so hmmm....have a bone to pick with god?

JW's are not Christians
by Witch Hunter ini've noticed on this forum that a fair few ex-jw's still refer to the members of the non-christain cult known as the jehovah's witneses as christians.
im aware that current members may wrongly believe they are in fact christians because the organisation leads them to believe they are serving god.
but for ex-members who are awake to the false teachings of this non-christain organisation, i thought they may be more prudent in their choice of words, and not refer to them as christians.

I think JWs are just as "christian" as most religions claiming to be christians...hey, the JWs have the WTS, but Catholics have the Pope.
And Satanus, JWs do believe that Jesus is who they need to go through in order to pray with God...most of us JWs always ended our prays with, in Jesus' name, amen...
What religion is true followers of christ? Every christian religion has their own idea of what Jesus' teachings meant. I respect, and believe in many of Jesus' teachings, but I don't consider myself a Christian any longer. Because I am not convinced that Jesus was really divine.

ahhh the operator at Watchtower is just being a good call center person...someone calls in looking to donate to something, the WT doesn't exactly have a political/military group...but offer them something else they can "feel good" about donating too...don't need to actually point out that it isn't political or military related....
