  THE 400 and 2,000 YEARS OF SILENCE?

  after the completion of the old testament,there were, '400 years of silence',during which god did not speak or inspire any scripture.

  that silence was broken by the arrival of john the baptist,and since that time there has been '2,000 years of silence,during which god has not spoken or inspired any scriptures.

  when do you think god will speak again and inspire something to be written?

  Dead Like Me

  i am so hooked on the tv show dead like me that i watch each episode a couple of times.

  i just love it.

  i think it's a very intelligent quirkly show that never fails to surprise me, make me laugh and even make me feel a bit sad.

  My husband has been talking about some show about the grim reaper for a while....he watched it on PBS when he was living in Texas...I have never seen it

  sorry enough?

  there's something i've always wondered about- how do the elders decide when a disfellowshipped person is "sorry enough" for their sin to be reinstated?

  for instance, if someone is immediately repentant for something they've done, even turning themselves in, and they still get disfellowshipped for a set period of time.

  how is this scriptural?

  It all depends on the size of the elders' pensises...there is an inverse relationship between how short the elder's penis is, as to how long of a time a person needs to be df'd and working hard to get back in to be sorry enough.

  Example:

  6 inches: 2 months

  2 inches: 2 to 25 years

  ooo Simon, heeheehee....

  BigTex...I must admit I too have had this problem over the last year or so. I had someone working for me that told me that twitching of the left eyelid was a bad omen...nice....Anywhoo...I think it only happens to me when I am really really stressed out.

  I have been really really stressed out so it has been happening more frequently the last month. My favorite cure is a a few bottles of Smrinov's Ice or Mike's hard lemonade. Then I am too numb to know if I am twitching or not.

  may have to try the calcium thing

  we are moving to Texas....

  I have a former client in McKinney, and I stopped by her house in August...I almost dropped dead when I saw he house....gorgeous!!!! I told my husband I wanted to move to McKinney, but he said no way jose...too far from anything. Sheesh....we live in a town of 12,000 right now, and have to drive out of state to see a skyline, hahah.

  We are looking at a house in eastern Plano....we are a bit too white trash, and poor, hahah for the west side.
