Mulan,
I am really sorry to hear about your dog.
our 15 year old dog died this afternoon..............with assistance from a veterinarian friend of rachel's (princess).
she was old, sick, and with multiple health issues.
it was a really hard decision, but the vet really helped ease my mind, by assuring me it was time.
Mulan,
I am really sorry to hear about your dog.
i have never heard of this before, but i think it is worth knowing.. i have come across a rather strange story.
yes it is legitimate and some details are left out to protect this persons identity.. this lady is having problems in her feet and hands.
the doctors find that gangrene is setting in.. it is decided that the legs up to the knees must be removed to stop the spread of septic infection.. the fingers are also to be removed because the infections are starting in the extremities.. it is discovered that a tampon has been left in the vagina for a long time.
That would be like forgetting a wad of tissue up the nose.
It depends on how many glasses of vodka you take with you mydol to deal with the cramps, and bitchiness that sometimes accompanies one's period.
(1) "out of the cocoon: a young woman's courageous flight from the grip of a religious cult" and (2) "have you seen my mother?".
i'm the author, brenda lee, of the first book and i just finished reading the latter book by bryan lee mcglothin (available at www.haveyouseenmymother.com ).
(bryan's book was very well written and thought provoking.
Maybe I should donate to the public library?
That is a good idea, actually. That way, perhaps someone studying with Witnesses will see it, and check it out. After all, when I was a JW, we were encouraged to give our teachers books, and donate books to libraries. Not sure if all libraries accepted. I don't think we offered them to the school library, but I don't think it would be a problem with public libaries, since they usually have a religion section.
I love the artwork on the cover, btw. Very nice.
I will admit I don't know if I will have a chance to read the book, or Bryan's any time soon, but maybe after xmas. Gotta take care of the little peeps hahh.
If people could please post reviews on these books after you read them, I would really appreciate it too.

Simon,We don't hear in the USA about all the other soldiers that died, can you tell us how many britts and others died too ?
Oldflame...PLEASE tell me you are being sarcastic? How can you not know? If you have the news on, surf the news online occaisionally, there is no way you missed it. No offense, but please don't speak for the entire USA and claim we don't get this info...because anyone who doesn't know so many have died are just not paying attention.
looks like lots of people are "coming out" right now.... http://www.cnn.com/2005/showbiz/tv/10/28/people.georgetakei.ap/index.htmlgeorge takei, 'trek's' sulu: i'm gay.
los angeles, california (ap) -- george takei, who as "star trek's" sulu was part of the starship enterprise crew through three television seasons and six movies, has come out as a homosexual in the current issue of frontiers, a biweekly los angeles magazine covering the gay and lesbian community.. takei told the associated press on thursday that his new onstage role as psychologist martin dysart in "equus," helped inspire him to publicly discuss his sexuality.. takei described the character as a "very contained but turbulently frustrated man.
" the play opened wednesday at the david henry hwang theater in los angeles, the same day that frontiers magazine featured a story on takei's coming out.. the current social and political climate also motivated takei's disclosure, he said.. "the world has changed from when i was a young teen feeling ashamed for being gay," he said.
I do oh so love Sulu's voice...sooooo deep and manly....

Not necessarily against drilling for oil up there. I think we just need to to be careful how we go about doing it.
