  Were you or someone you know sexually molested by a Jehovah's Witness ?

  due to the fact there are about 27,000 members of this religion that are known pedophiles, and the information about it is kept in a secret database file, i wonder how many lurking jw's as well as others are aware of the severity of this problem?

  remember, it's 27,000 pedophiles that they know about.

  what about the thousands that don't get caught?

  a jw i used to know died recently.

  she was almost exactly the same age as me - we were born just days apart.

  she had battled cancer for almost a decade.

  Scully, our condolences to you over the loss of your friend. Mr & Mrs. Flipper I had a friend a buddy who had faded, then died suddenly four years ago. Fortunately his "worldy" family had control of the funeral at a funeral home, and those of us who were close friends, non witnesses and some witnesses got to eulogize his good accomplishments and character. Witness memorials suck , because they are as you say just infomercials plugging for the church. Peace and comfort to you my friend, Mr. Flipper

  what was the strangest/worst counsel you recieved from elders ?

  having been in the organization for 30 years, after i got out i reflected on this.

  as a teenager i was told to not let my hair grow over my ears because i might stumble other young ones in the congregation.

  also, in order to carry the microphones i was told i couldn't wear white socks, had to wear black or dark blue socks.

  Infamous- Slander?!?! Did they want you to bury your head in the sand like an ostrich? Jeez. Mincan- I went through a similar thing when my 18 year old son came to live with me. His mom, my ex had kicked him out because he didn't want to go to meetings anymore and wouldn't drop his "worldy" girlfriend. I took him in and said," It doesn't matter to me that you have a nonwitness girlfriend or go to meetings. You're my son I love you and respect your viewpoint." Elders tried to get him to go to meetings and I told them to stop bothering him. bronzefist- That's a first. Ask you to go to another cong.? Damned Elders , can't they take advice from concerned publishers?? They need to humble thyselves. Jaguar Bass- I take it you graduated from school just fine. You're alive and still posting. eclipse- The elders have a way of making you not trust them, because they hold whatever you say against you. So why say anything to them at all, is my take?? Sorry you went through that. JK666- I hope the elder enjoyed watching the sun rise. I'm suprised he didn't follow your wife and make sure the dog was definitely going to the bathroom, too.Dumb shit elder. Sassy-ex-jw- It just goes to show we can't please them no matter what we do.   Great replies ya'll. I'm a big Beatles fan, Animals, Orbison, Lennon, Pink Floyd, haven't heard much Frank Zappa so I can't assess, I'm sure he's good though. Thanks, keep it coming.   Mr. Flipper here. Haven't shared my personal experience of my ex-wife of 19 years. Divorced 1998. She's still a witness. Didn't find out she had been molested as a girl until 18 years into the marriage. Her uncles molested her at age 12 . Her grandfather ,their dad was an elder, knew nothing about it. When she confronted her stepmother about her brothers years later, her mother just said," Oh well! Boys will be boys. What could I do about it, I was a young mother, didn't know what to do." Or didn't want to. When my ex had flashbacks in her late 30's of this she didn't want to be touched physically by me in any way. She thought sex was dirty. I tried to get her to counseling and even the elders recommended she do that, but she had so much anger and blame about it, that she blamed everyone from her stepmom to her familiy and even me for wanting to have normal intimacies. Needless to say it damaged the marriage and we ended up getting divorced. She was an angry human being to live with. Couldn't deal with it. We both tried. In short if you are a couple and ones mate has been abused it can affect your sex life unless help is summoned for. So as a tip to others,get counseling to deal with this. "Professional counselers, not the elders, as the elders are not trained to handle molestation victims. But in time I met Mrs. Flipper, so all is cool now. The ex-wife married somebody who didn't like sex either, alledgedly. They're happy, I think, who knows I wish em' both well.

  a friend of mr f heard a story on kfbk sacramento radio news a little after 8 this am...3 people in woodland ca received their settlement money, and 7,000 others have come forward with accusations.

  i can't find it anywhere - does anyone know about this?

  Hello ya 'all, Mr. Flipper here. Actually talked to Bill Bowen on the phone yesterday. I ordered the VHS tape of the Dateline show from 2002, and it hadn't come yet. Anyway, he stated that they are trying to get more high profile news coverage of this on different networks. Radio and TV. I asked about Oprah? and he stated that it wasn't likely as there are two JW's working for her that would prevent them from airing it. He also stated, and some of you may know this, that 200 annointed ones from Russia gave a written declaration of support to the Silent Lambs and what they are trying to accomplish. Too bad the U.S. version of annointed won't jump on board, eh? Also mentioned the Jaracz thing to him about the alleged molestation of Pat Garza by Jaracz. Bowen said," I was at Bethel when that happened and saw her confront him about it outside." So there you have it, it happened. Jaracz walked away, not acknowledging this poor (now deceased) sister. Bastard. Hope someone else honest comes forward to reveal more that he has done. It might be the only way it would shake some of these jdubs to the core to see there leaders were also doing the molesting. Might make them reconsider whether they are chosen by God or NOT!!!   i'll start with a couple.....jws believe that everything in revelation is symbolic except the number 144,000.. jws believe that donating blood is wrong.

  yet jws can accept "blood fractions" which can only be recieved if one donates blood!.

  Another ridiculous teaching I heard growing up in the "false" was ,"In the resurrection there is no marriage, but those resurrected are like angels in heaven." What the hell was that? So if I have a wife I love dearly, and she comes back in the resurrection, I can't be intimate with her? I asked that once to an elder. He said, "No. She won't have the same desires as you, she's like an angel". And I said," Sucks for me and her". I thought just kill me now and when I'm resurrected we can just have angel sex, if there is such a thing. God, these people were weird. Glad I'm out. Peace, Mr. Flipper
