  Did You See Married Couples Arguing Loud in Public,Kingdom Hall, Anywhere ?

  hello folks.

  i touched on this answering another thread and it made me think.

  i remember seeing fairly often married couples at times verbally sparring in public at times in the kingdom hall or parking lot.

  hello ex-elders, onthe wayout, snakes, and wilyloman, just to refresh about a month ago i told you all that the appeal committee had overturned the disfellowshipping decision by the original jc as the appeal committee got a hold of me by phone and told me the society gave them direction in this.

  i have since explained the situation to my witness mom and dad, 80 &82, they are good with it.

  i am taking copies of the counsel you ex elders gave to me to be careful about what i say at this "alleged encouragement" meeting and promise you this, i'll watch my words carefully when they ask me questions.

  Thanks everybody for your support! It's nice to be in peace and done with the elders.

  Snakes in the Tower- Thank you for your kind words. They are much appreciated. You ex-elders on this board are the best. My wife always says that the witness organization does not realize what they lost with quality people like you and everybody else on jwd who has joined this board.They forced out and lost good people due to their rigidness.

  Choosing Life- I really did choke on that question they asked if I thought it was god's organization. I'm an upfront real person, what you see is what you get, I don't do fake good at all. The elders sure looked at me funny when I said ," I'm proud of my son going to college, and proud of him in spite of him not going to meetings and not being in the organization. Then I closed the door and left, with their mouths hanging open, they looked like I had just shot their mother."

  Lady Liberty- Well, the comment I made about my son, was to teach them a little something about human relations. People should support their children's goal for education no matter what faith, religion or ideas they have. I was going to get that point acroos to them, whether they wanted to hear it or not. They sure as heck don't balk at telling us what we should do, figured I'd turn the tables a bit. Thanks, peace out, Mr. Flipper

  Kool-Aid Campaign anyone???

  so i was thinking with the new kool-aid edition of the craptower and the (now proven and confirmed) september 07 km basically telling us to only look at society literature, and the light getting brighter and brighter the noose getting tighter and tighter.. .

  why not start a campaign to let the society we have noticed.

  i would love to hear your thoughts and this wont cost any of us much money or time.. buy 2 packages of kool-aid (make sure it is that brand)...and preferably grape.

  Those HLC committees are absolutely asinine vultures. Wonder how they will rationalize when the society lifts the blood rule to avoid lawsuits, I mean spread new light. mrs flipper

  Running Interference

  ive never been a jw, im just invloved with one.. so ive become a regular lurker and full time opposer.. i spend to much time here especialy at work.. today it paid off.

  from my office window i watched the jw's pull up to the home across the street (third or fourth time ive seen them there).

  i wanted to shout at them, but dont want to get fired.

  Pray for my Mom and my cousin's family

  my mom has to have a heart cath tomorrow at 11 am, please pray for her, or send well wishes.

  this is the 2nd one she has had in the last 4 years.

  im hoping and praying that the doctors can fix whatever they find.. .

  Am married to a faded jw. Knew very little about jw's before my husband's family did some really wierd stuff that really blew me away. Decide to research, found this to be the best site. Found out that the "really wierd stuff" was routine, even mild compared to what many others have experienced in the watchtower. So I got kind of hooked on this, but not as much as my dear mate when he eventually got on too. We really like everyone on here and get really good support and info. Welcome! mrs flipper

  ...and you know flipper lives in a world full of wonder living there under, under the seeeeaaaaa I know all the words - sang it into my answering machine. my voice is so bad that it's good. mrs flipper ( a little lit) My wife and her magical, musical ways. She says I'm a tolerant man. Love her offbeat humor! Anyway, thanks you all for showing interest in my meeting with the spiritual dickheads. It was very edifying! Hopefully I can go on with the rest of my life with Mrs. Flipper and not be harassed, stalked, maligned, or whatever other torture or annoyances jw's come up with. Now Mrs. Flipper and I want to watch a Saturday night live comedy skit with Will Ferrell, because godammit we need some laughter in our life! Is that asking too much? Should I call the elders first?   Hello Antichrist. Mr. Flipper here. Yes it was because of family I fought against the false allegations. Mainly my mom 80 and dad 82 who have been in it since 1951. Moms health is bad and I didn't want to not be able to see her. Also have a son whom i'm close to he's a fader like me ex witness, but have two jw daughters that I want to semi try to stay close to even though they don't agree with my not going to meetings. If I had been dfed, they wouldn't even spit my direction. So I am going to keep trying to draw close to them. We'll see what happens. But I know I don't want to go back to the witnesses though. That's a fact Thanks for all your responses, you are all so kind!!

  Thanks so much for your replies. Keep em' comin as I won't add a total up to see who was listed the most till the end of the week. Have lots of work this week and not much time. So it might give others time to think of more singers they liked, and we'll see how it totaled out at the end of the week
