  Were you or someone you know sexually molested by a Jehovah's Witness ?

  due to the fact there are about 27,000 members of this religion that are known pedophiles, and the information about it is kept in a secret database file, i wonder how many lurking jw's as well as others are aware of the severity of this problem?

  remember, it's 27,000 pedophiles that they know about.

  what about the thousands that don't get caught?

  LV 101- I wasn't the one who was sexually abused as a child, Solzhenitsyn was. He just repeated what I wrote to him and put my name in front of it for reference. But like all of us who were raised as youths in the JW cult, I did suffer my fair share of psychological and mental abuse though with the strange and super strict upbringing. I think locking up WT leaders in a nuclear waste dump and throwing away the key would be an acceptable option with all the pain and suffering they've caused.

  DIOGENESISTER- I agree with you. It's truly criminal that these WT Society child abuse cases have gone on for generation after generation, and still- WT Society leaders get away scot free with only millions $$$$$ of lawsuits to pay for. Like many people on this board I want to see criminal indictments and see WT leaders get their ass thrown in prison sometime soon. Not only child abuse has destroyed lives, but murders of JW's not receiving blood transfusions to save their lives ! Just another form of child abuse when minor JW children have died because their fucking cult mind controlled parents let them die preventing kids from getting blood transfusions. There NEEDS to be accountability on all fronts by the WT leaders, but still here on August 11th, 2018 - WT leaders have not been held accountable or responsible for any of these deaths or obliterated lives.   SOLZ- I cannot even imagine some of the horrific , extremely sad cases of child abuse you had to handle as a JW elder. I'm sure it really took it's toll on you. It's a good thing that it makes you wary and careful to watch out for your own children though. I wish nothing but peace and happiness for you and your family in the future. Peace out, Mr. Flipper

  I noticed this thread had been bumped up a few days ago, wanted to respond to the good replies. Thanks for your input.

  CONFUSEDANDANGRY- Thanks for your comments. The WT Society truly IS a criminal organization that destroys lives by soft pedaling child abuse and not reporting child molesters over to police immediately upon learning of the abuse. Like yourself I know of many, many victims within this JW organization who have been molested multiple times by the same molester, and the elders either did nothing, or just gave a slap on the wrist to the molester and reinstated them upon their fake " repentance " . Then the abuse cycle continues as elders keep letting these jack asses back into congregations. It's going to take a massive effort by either the federal government intervening or something big to come down on JW leaders prosecution wise to get these abuses to stop or be limited.

  SOLZHENITSYN- I'm so sorry you were abused as a child and I'm sorry to hear the WT made you sweep child abuse under the rug. You weren't the only elder who was told to do that, so don't be too hard on yourself. The main thing is you know it was wrong now and now is all we have to change our lives and the lives of others.

  LV 101- Yeah, I know. I knew multiple victims of child sex abuse and it just disgusts me how the WT Societies policies are so arrogant and heartless in dealing with these crimes. WT Society leaders need to be brought up on charges of aiding & abetting pedophiles and child molesters. Peace out, Mr. Flipper

  A very dangerous thing happen to us two weeks ago. It could have meant our life.

  two weeks ago mrs. add and myself was driving home from shopping on a side street when we came upon a man laying on his back with his arms spread out in a t formation.

  with no one in site we pulled over our van to help this person.

  mrs.add went for her phone to call 911 and i got out of the van to see what i could do.

  STILL TOTALLY ADD- I'm really glad to hear that you both are alright and didn't get hurt. As much as many of us like to be helpful and be " good Samaritans " so to speak- I'm in total agreement with Morpheus on this that we have to be very cautious, use our intuition, and really be wary and have eyes in the back of our heads keeping our head on a swivel if we assist people on the side of the road nowadays. As Morph mentioned, there are a lot of users and takers out in society these days and we have to use extra caution if we hope to escape with our skin intact. I'm so glad you guys were lucky.

  Keep being helpful to people who really need it- but be wary of walking into life threatening situations my friend. Peace & hugs to you both, Mr. Flipper

  GABCOL- Welcome to the board my friend. As you stated you're not alone, many of us here have suffered abuse at the hands of people we once considered friends in our lives, JW's we thought we could trust. But in time we truly see they never had our best interests at heart. It was a conditional, fake " interest " .   Healing & Rebuilding Your Life - Feedback Wanted

  i have been invited to speak at an international cultic studies association workshop this fall.

  i could use your help in focusing on my presentation subject.. these workshops are for former members of any cult or other high-control, authoritarian group, not just jehovah's witnesses.

  last year, i spoke at one of their larger conferences in europe.

  XANTHIPPE- Yeah, no worries, you're just sharing your experience. You're not being arrogant, just honest. I believe it took me awhile longer to lose the JW cult terminology because even though I stopped attending meetings, for a time I was still around extended JW family that were still inside the cult- and fanatics at that in using the JW language. So though I didn't hear these expressions and terms used at meetings- I still occasionally had to hear my older mom & dad use these expressions when I'd visit them, or my older siblings would use these words, or even my adult JW daughters. So even though I stopped attending meetings in 2003 - I still had to put up with hearing my extended JW family use this loaded language. Perhaps that clears it up a bit for you. LOL.   I might add, I'm glad none of that language is in my head now. I'm glad it's out of my brain neurotransmitters. But I read a lot and have worked hard to put other good stuff in my mind !
