Translation : WT leaders saying , " We are your lords, masters, and slaveholders. You do NOT think for yourself, we do your thinking for you. You will only speak when allowed by us to outside media . Understand ? Good. If you don't understand ? You'll lose you servants position or be disfellowshipped, according to how we WT leaders feel that particular day. "

" Publishers may be approached for comments by media representatives in connection with our activities or beliefs and may decide to participate. However, when elders learn that a publisher has granted such an interview, they should immediately inform PID. "

Translation : " Go ahead publishers and allow media to interview you, but the Public Information Desk will know who you are, so will the elders, and we WT leaders will have a record of you speaking out as well. And don't forget, the elders will offer you " loving " counsel in the back room before the meetings begin, just so you understand that you will be held accountable for your words and actions ! And the elders may gossip about it to their wives, who in turn will spread it to others in the congregation that you talked with the media. There now. Feel better ? Still want to speak out to the media, suckers ? Ha ! Ha ! Ha ! Ha !. We'll see you in court or the back room, it's your choice. Who’s The Best Actor/Actress? Who Is Overrated??

one of my favorite actors is robert de niro.

some of his later movies were so so but overall i think he was outstanding.

meryl streep, i just never thought she was anything exciting yet people say she’s the best actress of all time.

Anthony Hopkins, Jack Nicholson, the English actor Oliver Reed was good ( played the older guy in The Gladiators with the white beard ) .

As far as female actresses, Kathy Bates was always good, Renee Zellwegger is outstanding in lots of stuff, especially Cold Mountain.

Extremely well done documentary. Wife and I watched both nights, and I've already downloaded the Oxygen app on my phone so I can share it.

I feel it was the best presented, most thorough discussion of WT child abuse yet . 4 hours of sitting on the edge of your seat tension, which angered me at the gross negligence and injustices committed by this criminal organization WT Society.

Trey Bundy, Irwin Zalkin, and all of the abuse victims did an incredible job of presenting this information. I cannot even imagine how difficult it was for these abuse survivors to assist in this 4 hour documentary. With them still suffering PTSD from their abuse, it required an astounding amount of courage to do these interviews.

I highly recommend watching it, and sharing it with anybody you know. Peace out, Mr. Flipper

My wife and I have begun our fade

i haven’t posted in awhile.

my wife asked me after the year 2000 came and went without fanfare(because the wt organization said all the “new world” would be here within this 20th century would end), “ what would it take for you to leave the truth?”.

my reply was “ if i turn 60 in this “system of things”.

JAMES JACK- Congratulations to you and your wife breaking free from the chains of mental abuse by the WT Society and moving on to live your life with freedom of mind ! I'm your same age ( turned 60 in October 2019 ) and I've been out of the JW's over 17 years now. Best decision I ever made, aside from marrying Mrs. Flipper and having my 3 children years ago.

Having been born and raised in the JW cult myself, I understand your feelings of a wasted life, WT telling us we would never die, and to only live for the future " paradise".

I get it. I've discovered that living in the here and now, treasuring each day of life, and pursuing my interests, passions, business, cherishing my wife, my ex-JW son, and friendships each day are what life is about. Not chasing some pie in the sky unreality. Living each day with no regrets, like it's your last day is my mantra now. I'm into producing and playing and writing music, putting it out on the Internet, organic vegetable gardening, hiking in the woods, playing Scrabble with my wife. Enjoying our dogs and cat.

It's these cherished memories in living them every day that help me get through. Perhaps you and your wife can come to South Lake Tahoe next year at our annual apostafest get together . Check out the thread on On The Way Out's topics. We get about 40 to 50 ex-JW's coming to just hang out, BBQ, party, chill and drink adult and non-adult beverages sharing real friendships. Would love to have you come !

y'know, when you hear a song that profoundly effects you in some difficult-to-describe way and the hairs on your arm stand on end even though the room temperature's comfortably warm.. so, which songs give you goosebumps?.

"Generation of 1914" Countdown Timer

so proud of this counter that i made!.

very simple yet shows the estimated amount of people that are living that are from the generation of 1914, defined as "all the people who were alive, even just barely being born, when ww1 started".. here's what i assumed:.

10% of the 1.7 billion people alive in 1914 were infants, just children.

The " millions who are now living, who will never die " are all dead, or to the point of your thread, virtually all dead. Those born in 1914.

Bottom line is the WT Society has been selling lies since 1879. For 140 years they've been pushing this idea that people who listen to them will " live forever " . It's a cruel tactic that plays on people's fear of death. My JW parents died at age 91 in 2017 and another at age 89 in 2016. They had been told these crock of shit lies since the early 1950's when they joined the JW cult. WT leaders are unethical mind duping criminals who should be locked up for not only these lies, but child abuse, preventing life saving blood transfusions, and all the other unethical tactics they've used on JW's since the beginning in 1879.

Pretty soon ,before we know it, it will be 2029, or 150 years since the JW cult leaders started spreading these " end of the system " lies. Hell, since an actual generation is about 30 years, by 2029, 5 overlapping generations will have passed since the WT Society began these absurdities. Pretty sick, twisted stuff if you sit down and ponder. Peace out, Mr. Flipper
