More importantly, 1975 was the year I was born.

Okay, so what is the significance of 1975 ?
by Gregor init obviously meant something when it was officially referred to for 9 yrs.
i know they deny that they implied it would be armageddon, so ok, then what was it all about?
have they ever brought it up again?

I wanted to be a firefighter and Maverick, from Top Gun. I loved Backdraft and thought the volleyball scene from Top Gun was the epitome of coolness. I know, not exactly unique among little boys. Years later, however, I was playing volleyball while attending Fire Academy for USMC Crash/Fire/Rescue.....dogtags and all. I remember stepping back, checking out the lovely bikini-clad ladies checking me out, taking a deep breath, and being the happiest man in the world. I may not have been the epitome of coolness, but I sure felt like it.

Horrible Apostates fall into Jehovahs Trap
by Jim Dee inas you guys are probably aware, the new watchtower for studying has shed new light on the generations issue (ie whoops we got it wrong, we were right before) .
the co's here in aus have been briefed to inform the congregation (either formally or informally) that is is part of the cunning of jehovah .
when jesus parted the non beleiver disciples from the core 12 (or was it 13) he made an outrageous statement and watched the weak walk off - thats exactly what jehovahs organisation has done today .

I suppose the cunning of Jehovah used children as lures to weed out the pedophiles as well.

Walked away in '98, remained 'inactive' for 3 years until I was DA'd for joining the Corps. Interestingly, the last congregation I attended was told I had disassociated myself....which I suppose in effect I did my joining the military, though this wasn't mentioned. I wasn't notified (not that it would have made any difference) but found out through a friend.

Could an EX-JW Dating Site work?
by Bourne inhey!
since the "in" and "active" jw's have their dating websites, what about us?
at the moment, i see myself, at a future date, feeling most comfortable with someone with a similar background, someone who understood the issues left over from the experience of being a jw.

LOL. Is there anything more pathetic than fishing for PM's? I think not. Ah well, what can one expect after being rejected by every Eharmatchsinglesdate.com on the net. Maybe my new bride will finally arrive in the mail today and explain why a ticket from Moscow costs $25,000.36. Cash.

What concerns me about all these PM's being traded back and forth at such a prolific rate is why I haven't received ANY!! Jerks.

The Ghost Dance and the Slaughter at Wounded Knee
by frankiespeakin inthe peaceful ghost dance started by by desparate indians hoping for freedom, from the the greedy white man and his government caught on and was adopted by many tribes which frightened the us government that an uprising was in the making which was brought to an abrut end in the slaughter at wounded knee i have collected several renditions:.
i did not know then how much was ended.
when i look back now from this high hill of my old age, i can still see the butchered women and children lying heaped and scattered along the crooked gulch as plain as when i saw them with eyes still young.

I know I've posted this before, but it's one of my favorite T's. I finally picked one up at the last Pow-wow I went to.
I also like the quote:
"The Native Americans found out what happens when you don't control immigration"

Actually, it's worse when there are like 3 million views, and no replies.
