  Member that loathsome WT cartoon?

  years ago there was a witchtower talking about a "cleansed" earth.. there was a tract that used the same obscene picture.. the globe is portrayed, with a huge hand (plus cloth) polishing it.

  there is a torrent of knives guns, roulette wheels, atomic missiles, tanks, syringes, falling off.

  January '08 "Keep on the Watch" brochure campaign cancelled

  i heard that a notice was sent to all boe this month removing "keep on the watch" as the featured january campaign.. can i get confirmation from anyone?.

  I was wondering the same thing Jim. Why prior to 1991? Just them listing what I should sell, should scream in the rank and files faces!

  This con, just can't keep on going.

  I'm pretty sure it's a stock-clearance thing... some of the KMs say, "...or any book printed on paper that yellows".

  Sounds like they want to clear stuff out before it goes manky.

  when i started posting this morning it struck me that i was in the company of others around the world who were just getting up or going to bed.

  one can actually see when the brits have hit the forum - like now .

  do you post from home or work or both?.

  I access JWD as the kettle is boiling in the morning.

  I read sometimes at work - not much time free though

  I can access JWD on my phone - so I can read and post if stuck in traffic or on the train.

  Mostly I post during the evenings.

  You can definately see a pattern in postings - there are waves of different posters as the world wakes up.

  Some of the JWs that I know had heard the rumours just after we did on here - so I guess that it wouldn't be much of a shocker.

  I asked some of them, "Why if God has revealed this to the Governing Body / FDS / Whatever.... why would they have to wait three months in order to print it... and what are they teaching in the meantime ?"

  Donations in WWW box @ KH

  i seem to remember that when there was a specific disaster, we were told we could put our donation in the world wide work box with a note attached stating it was for a particular cause (e.g.

  hurricane relief work in a specific incident ) am i right in thinking that the donations are collected out of the box and banked?

  do the notes get sent seperately to the branch offices?

  many of you will be happy to hear that this is my departure from this forum for awhile... i need to wean myself off it, get in shape and record my album... i'll post a link when it comes out.

  that said, merry christmas and happy new year to you all.

  i've had fun here on this site, almost all of you to a person are intelligent and well meaning.... i remember as a youth, i was a hard core jw, mostly becasue i thought i was doing what was right; as time went on and things didn't add up, i started doing as the bible tells me to do in 1 thess.

  It's good to have made your aquaintance.

  Your passion for the freeing of the WT slaves is admirable and has shaken me from my comfort of posting here to make me get back "out there" and actually engage more with JWs in the hope of sewing seeds or waking some up.

  It does work and it can be done. I have had some sucess - and you have had much sucess with your letters.

  Well done and never give up.
