Thought about it.

It seems that Windows was designed to imitate a Mac... so why not just make the change ?

They get used in all the films too.

Maybe I'll get one for work and see what they are like.

True Christians keep clear of false worship, rejecting false religious teachings.

Well, as best they can... who can really say what is false ?

This means that we avoid exposure to religious programs on radio and television as well as religious literature that promotes lies about God and his Word. (Ps. 119:37)

Oh... so "we" are "true Christians" now...

We also wisely refrain from sharing in social functions and recreational activities sponsored any organization associated with false religion.

Although we don't mind partaking in multifaith groups every now and then.
Let's not mention the UN shall we ?

Additionally, we do not support false worship in any way. What if a person who wishes to become one of Jehovah's Witnesses is currently a registered member of a false religion?

You will know if you are a registered member of a false religion because all false religions make you carry identiy cards identifying you as a member - they say "...... is a registered member of False Relgion" (nothing like our blood card... really )

In most cases, a letter of resignation serves as evidence that a person no longer wants to be viewed as a member of a false religion.

This will be the first step into our legal corportation. We will also need a letter signed by all of your great-grandparents verifying that you have left.

The actions of a prospective Witness should make it clear that he has ended that religious affiliation. w 3/15/06 11, 12a

...and that he is willing to join a whole new false religion.

New Release - 2007 District Convention - Follow The Christ

lucky me, oh lucky me - my mom popped by on sunday pm on their way home from the district convention to give me a copy of the new release... and then phoned me today and asked me if i had started reading it and when will i start ( note to self - i need to take a stand soon and make my intentions of never ever going back well and truly clear - 12 years of non attendance of meetings does not seem to have given mom a clue!!!).

so has anyone read it - it there anything totally pukeworthy that i have got to read before i chuck it in my rubbish bin - b'coz i didn't read the literature when i was in da troof - i am not about to start now...!.

I heard that the Saturday afternoon smyposium will be a follow up to the Watchtower article about oral sex, entitled "Giving the Proper Lip Service to your Mate".

I doubt that the JWs will swallow that !

when i studied to be a JW (Sept2006-Feb2007----got baptized March2007) i studied out of the "What does the Bible really teach" book. my conductor would give me hundreds of old magazines and would drag our 1 hour study out to 4 hours....just yapping away!!! i finally figured out what she was doing.....so when she suggested i go into the second publication i said no i am ready to be baptized so you can't take advantage of me in order to increase your time and magazine count. too bad i didnt spend all that time reading the bible myself i wouldnt be in all this mess!!!! the mandatory second publication is prolly to help the pioneers get their 60 hours a month without too much exertion.....

Welcome by they way It sounds like you were a rebel from before your Baptism. Are you digging a tunnel out of the Watchtower now ?
