ok its time to recount all your favorite crazy jw urban legends, ill start i remember this one was told to me after i had left the org, there was a newly married couple, they were good little dubs, evil mother in law lived with them, she did not want to convert or study, well time went on they had a baby, and mother in law was into some spiritual stuff, unknown to jw mommy and daddy.
anyway jw mommy wakes up one night to find little baby dub sitting inside the fish tank with most of the water taken out and there was some kind of evil spirit present, mommy dub yells out jemimas name and breaks free with baby dub.
evil mother in law is asked to leave their happy home.
I heard about John Denver throwing JW's out of his concerts too.
Another one was that a sister got into a cab. The cab driver started to drive off to a secluded area away from where she asked him to take her. She began praying out loud to Jehovah. The cab driver heard her prayer and using Jehovah's name. So he pulled over and told her that he was getting ready to take her somewhere to rape her and told her to get out and never get into another cab with the light off.

So sorry to hear that this happened to you. There is no reason for it. I'm a cancer survivor and know how hard of a battle it can be and how much of a stressful time you are going through, you definetely don't need some idiot saying cruel things to you and adding more stress to you!

Funny thing is when I got 19 and started dating my future husband, who is now my ex, we did not have a chaperone. The only thing I can figure is because he was so much older than me? Not sure, but at the time I sure wasn't going to question it. The rumor mill did start though when friends saw us out together without a tag along.
i've been around for awhile, but never registered for fear of giving my personal information (yes, that's how much the borg scares me.
i was raised in the org, and left when i was 18. i realized that every religion firmly believed that they were correct, and that forced me to re-evaluate the religion on its merits, as opposed to my insistent belief.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your cousin. It is unbelievable how some JW's pick the worst moments to start thier attacks. I really feel for you, having gone through similar situations.
Apparently you have already done your fade since you have not seen any of the JW's in quite a while. I would just continue to follow your course. It doesn't sound like the elders have anything on you in order to df you.

a couple of days ago i asked for advice because the elders have got on my case and wanted to come and see me.
my jw son and his wife are the only ones who know my feelings on the borg.
i also told them some home-truths about the wt, so i wasn't sure if they had turned me in or not.

i had such a shock today, its almost bizarre, my son was involved in an accident at work.
he's an ironwoker, which means he works the high steel on skyscrapers and such.
today he was working and tied his safety harness off to the cable as usual, and went to work.. lots of times they have to lean out and rely on that harness to keep them secure while they reach out to do whatever the hell it is they do (best mom's don't always know all), and today his dumbass bosses didn't have the cable attached on one end.
