i've put this off for a long time... primarily becuase, while i thought my story was bad, i've read so many worse and heart-rending stories here.
i think, though, there is some therapeutic value in 'letting it all out' with others who know what 'it' was like.

My avatar's always consist of some type of fairy. I change it from time to time. I've always liked fairies & butterflies.
My screen name is one of the nicknames my husband and some of his buddies have always called me. The 75 was added, because the name was already used, so I added '75 since that is the year I was born. Also has some significance in the failed date with the borg!

this never would've happened if we were still "in"
by chickpea inmy 14 yo daughter will be performing a solo in her high school's winter pops concert.... featuring the choirs and bands as well as individual talent..... she wrote music and lyrics, a sweet melody on the piano.....there are a few bands at the local "punk shows" that do a cover and when her papa and i first heard it we thought>>> d@mn, that even sounds good distorted!.
note: none of the mentioned "friends" are from the cong, where she was brutalized by the "it" girls as she has had weight issues since being on steroids for asthma when she was younger.
14 hour day.

Hello people!!!

ive been away from the borg for nearly a year now (whoo hoo) without anyone noticing (so much for that brotherly luuuuuuurrvvve) been reading some of the posts & wow.

You As A Brand....
by LouBelle ina friend of mine went for a job interview and she was asked to write about herself as a brand, give herself a logo..., it got me to thinking of me, and what "brand" and logo i am.. my brand name is: sweetlou (logo big s with a small capital l starting from halfway down) with a dragon entangled around it.
the letters of the logo would be a golden rich yellow, outlined with a "thick enough to see" fire orange, and the dragon blue.. why sweetlou: it was a nickname given to me by my brothers' friends - not necessarily denoting sweetness as we know it - taste and personality.
it had something to do with me being such a cool sister.

I would stick withbabygirlas my brand name.
My Logo would consist of a butterfly or a fairy carrying a Pink ribbon. This would signify my support in the breast cancer community. I've always liked fairies & butterflies, so that would show some of my personality. Trying to live life to the fullest and spread my wings...

would a jw wife be advised to divorce her disfellowshipped convicted hub
by looloo inif he has been convicted of child abuse and doing a prison sentence , would she tell any newly interested ones where her husband was?
or would elders tell her to say he was"working away" or to avoid answering so as not to "stumble" new ones ?
she is supporting him as far as i know .

dawg: I don't know about this one Looloo, they used to say that you couldn't divorce your Gay mate although.
When was gay activity not pornea dawg? wusssup........................oompaI would say Dawg was referring to NPG's (non-practicing gay's)..... Anyway...with regard to this, I'm not sure they would advise her to divorce, but I sure as hell would even if they didn't consider herself "free" to marry again!!
