  You think they would finally give up on this. It just gets worse and worse. I asked my die hard wife

  if she has any idea what the new light is. She did repeat it to me as they say, but added that it

  left it open ended. And I said , so that means that the generation thing doesn't mean anything

  any more? and I left it that.

  I think that was the whole idea. Make the generation thing meaningless. They will probably just stop now

  and not bring it up again.

  I really believe my wife is starting to see the real light. I just don't argue anymore. I just bring up things

  once in while, and let her think on it, that way she doesm't go off like a crrazy person.

  Sister in my Congregation claims Jehovah always answers her prayers....including her new skirt and shoes for $20 bucks???

  to show you how dumb and shallow my congregation is a one of our "deeper" sisters claimed in field services that "jehovah answers all my prayers...like last week i wanted a new skirt and shoes for field service but only had $20 dollars....and would you believe i found them!!!

  now i for one though well, why didn't you pray or the oil pipe in the mexican gulf to dry up...or food for the poor in haiti.

  other pioneers tell of vegetables falling off trucks just when they had nothing for dinner???

  I have found throughout the years that the society has an abnormal amount of people with weird

  ideas. They seem to take what the society says (which is 98 percent bull) and mix it up

  with thier own dilusional ideas. When you are out you get an entirely different view of the people who

  are in . To me it has always seemed impossible to reason with jws and not just the bible. The problem

  seems to me to be that they do not research things out. They do not seem to apply any logic to anything.

  The whole religion has contradictory ideas. God takes care of them yet they say time and chance

  befalls them all.

  My favorite story is the sister that was in our congregation whose small son fell out of a second

  story window and had no ill effects at all. She felt an angel protected him. Would that not be a miracle?

  Yet they say there are no miracles today.

  I have personaly witnessed this kind of behavior many many times over the years and always just shook my head

  in disbelief.

  How many meetings did you actually enjoy?

  i was talking to my husband and we were trying to work out how many meetings we actually came away from feeling enthused or excited by what we had heard.

  not including pre and post meeting association how many wow moments can you recall?.

  we had to conclude that most of the time in the organisation the meeting was something you endured.

  I have been getting some dental work lately, and believe me folks , If I had a choice I would take the dental

  work anytime. The meetings always were excrutiating to me and as the years went by they just got

  worse and worse. I used to look around at others at the hall and ask myself am I the only one

  here that would like to just shoot myself.

  Just a short observation on my Bible study.

  i thought it would be fun to say yes to a weekly bible study just to see how far i could go in undermining the j.w.

  beliefs, also to be honest i thought it would make a family member happy.

  so i slowly and methodically refuted and questioned all the nutty things that my study teacher, or whatever he's called, tried to throw at me over a period of about 4 months.

  If I believed that a person could be posessed then the jws would confirm it for me. Everytime I have tried

  to talk to jw friends, relatives about anything wrong about the society they all go off the deep end . It is

  actually a very strange thing to watch. When they get like that you might just as well forget it.

  i just watched peoples court where twin sisters were at each others throats over some photos.

  it got pretty.

  I just watched peoples court where twin sisters were at each others throats over some photos. It got pretty

  heated and nasty at times. The judge gave them a pretty good dressing down and recommended that

  they both get help. But the closing remarks from the twins said they did not want any thing to

  to do with each other again and called each a bunch of choice names. But the one said they had

  been raised Jehovahs witnesses. ( I mean how stupid can you get) I guess the society needs to have these people stop calling

  themselves jws. ( of course most jws would say these were not really jws_ I find this goes on alot more that people think.

  why are the illegal immigrants demanding their rights?

  they're illegal, they don't have the rights of an american citizen because they are not citizens.

  Maybe I have missed something, has the meaning of illegal changed. I love that news article , they have made

  it a crime to be an illegal alien. You know they still round up illegals and send them back across the borders.

  It just has to be immigration or border patrol , I have witnessed it many, many times. On construction

  sites myself and fellow workers used to guess how long before the border patrol showed up . The longest

  was one week. I just do not see what the problem is. just inforce the actual law that is place right now.

  What the hell do we need another one for.

  I think they are just putting this crap out there just to see how much of it the jws will believe.

  I think something bigger is in the works. This is just the prep work .

  I think it is funny that this stuff is not being discussed among theirselves.

  For instance has anyone here that still goes have another jw even mention it to you?

  The ultimate bs would be to tell everyone to sell everything you got , give it to them

  and then get out and preach full time selling literature (for donations). One last attempt

  to squeeze every last dime out of the faithfull untill they close shop. Kind of the way

  they do the elderly now.

  You see we can all come up with our own ideas just like the society. Ha , Ha .

  Racial profiling. If it was reported from witnesses all over town that a group of young white boys with blonde

  hair was going around breaking out windows of stores, wouldn't you expect the police to go out and

  look for 'young white boys with blonde hair.' Why waste time with any other group.

  There is only one reason that illegal immigration is allowed by the government, 'cheap labor'. If no one hired

  these people they would go home. I live in an agricultural area, these people are blatantly hired cheap under

  the table. I also happens in the construction trade. I have seen the mexicans hired over the weekend by

  the carload and at the end of the weekend the authorities come and pick them up and send them back to

  mexico. Hows that for cheap labor. And the guy that did it to them was a mexican. The work they did

  was crap. They probably worked on the house you live in. Illegal immigration is not doing anyone a favor

  but the greedy.
