  Types, anti-types, starting fresh?

  do you think these changes are being made so they can start teaching the r&f a new set of doctrines?

  or is this just a fly in the ointment just to continue to confuses the masses so they don't know what the hell to think anymore?.

  and if you think its so they can teach new doctrines, do you think their going to go more main stream?.

  @DATA DOG I your pain bro. I fell e exactly the same. I got so depressed with it I tried to commit suicide myself a few years ago. Its a hard bump to earth when you realise you've been led to all your life without anywhere else to turn. But at least as a group they lead moral lives free from alot of the hardships of people not going to kingdom hall.

  at the end of april, there was a zone visit in france, with tv broadcast in all kh.. g. losch told he received a letter from a girl, 10 years old, baptised at 5, reg pioneer since 4 years !

  what a fine example, he said....... let s imagine the faces of the parents in the kh!

  i was happy to see i was not the only one to find it crazy.. if you have a child, you know how mature he is at 5. how can a child preach 2.5hours/day after 7hours of school and homework to do??

  Abuse of Power - Today's WT Study, May 10, 2015 (w2015 3/15)

  ok, so i only read the wt study articles to keep up with the indoctrination that my two "still-in" children are being subjected to.

  when i read this in today's wt i nearly blew a gasket: .

  They already don't like to quote anything more than 15 years old.... I agree this time frame is gonna suddenly shrink into the last 5 years or less!

  according the watchtower study of may 10th, it has been made clear no prophetic meaning should be given to a a scripture or passage unless the bible itself gives clear interpretation of it.

  therefore daniel 7 especially gives it's fulfillment to nebuchadnezzar only.

  no future kingdom or 2520year wait til 1914. no gentile times or "this generation".

  The whole of the 1914 paradigm is a type / anti type scenario. From Nebuchadnezzar been cut down like the symbolic tree, the days for years intervention and the restoration of Jerusalem. Without the type /antitypes the whole 1914 last days prophecy falls apart without a single scripture to back it up.

  Besides, even Jesus parables have been de-bunked as only stories to high light a specific principle so they can't even tie in Matthew 24 as having a grand fulfilment with the commencement of WWI. So the whole thing is a flop.

  if you have been a jw for 20+ years you may remember that the wt went into great detail on different illustrations that jesus used and the "type/anti-type" ridiculous explanations.

  remember the revelation book and how those obscure jw conventions of the past pictured big things in heaven and the opening of seals?

  anyway, the wt lessons for the next two weeks do two big things for me.

  Its good to be able to express myself without Been labelled an apostate aside been in the past. I mean it doesn't take much thinking to realise how thin all the teaching actually are! And today's watchtower just sealed it for me. Backed up everything I've been thinking years now!

  may 10th, the whole study was about covering up their mistakes, and putting it off on "recent refinements of understandings".. you could just look at the elder on stage and know he was not feelin this study.. when a neewbie answered and said" lots of unexpected changes are happening" i about fell outta my seat !

  Welcom Deltawave, good to have you here. I'm not surprised they didn't get it but many of us here did. They are trying to ditch the 1914 generation once and for all right under the noses of the brothers and sisters.

  That is exact what is going on! All the hall was nodding along as the GB Blamed the literature for was in print lol

  I think they forgot to mention they wrote that literature :-/
