  a source tells me the following: .

  for shropshire uk by the name of anthony manning has been removed and judicially reproved.

  portishead congregation in north somerset is being merged or disbanded on sept 1st 2015 due to "aging elders, poor attendance, decrepit kingdom hall and landslip" - of course the suspicion is wt just wants to sell the hall off.

  @3rdgen yes I think they are living the stuff... My wife often cries at the end of each broadcast because of how faith strengthening and moving it was :-/

  I have just read the book crises of conscience in less than 3days! I could not put it down! Even in front of my JW wife and her family. They kept asking what I was reading as I was glued to it. That book has just conformed everything I've been thinking and feeling for over 5years now. I am going to sit my wife down and calmly inform her why I won't be continuing my service as pioneer from tomorrow onward.

  What where your thoughts after reading it?

  one hundred and thirty six years this july of the worlds most published and least read magazine: the inglorious watchtower.

  nothing in it which is original has been of any use to mankind.

  Well said half banana, I was that poorly educated, part time window cleaner! My mate and I feel like we have been cheated. We gave up proper educations at colledge and university, pioneered together straight from school (although I was home schooled) and the as soon as we had financial commitments... LIKE wives, homes, bills.... We had to stop pioneering. And had no qualifications or skills to fall back on. We were scamed big time. I am now at colledge as an adult filling in my educational gaps!

  in the article 'judgement day' published by jehovah's witness', they are saying,'in 'judgement day', the people who will be resurrected and had no chance to learn about god will not be judged according to their past deed but what will they do after resurrection.

  ' and they show the scripture roman6:7 which says"who has died has been acquitted from his sin.

  " if we take out context and see it literally , it has that meaning but the scripture's contextual meaning is totally different, it doesn't talk about physical death but the death of old personality.so in this cotext, this cannot be applied.this is anacceptable to admit..

  threads on the newer jw face of public "witnessing" have shared in common the astonishment that jws safely park themselves behind their literature trolleys and exercise incredibly little contact with passersby.

  whether the poster is talking about europe or the united states or australia, descriptions here are the same.. literature stands are protective sheilds behind which jws huddle, talking to each other, sipping on their espressos, whilst the disinterested world passes by.

  neither the jws nor the passersby catch each others eyes.

  My cousins look after the trolly work in the city and they place 1000s of prieces of literature every month. Although the trolly work is mainly done by pioneers, most publisherss dont like it and think it's a waste of time. Practically every service meeting has an item about getting more involved in this aspect of service.
