Does Jehovah Intervene - JW Teaching

i have been a jw my whole life and i have never been able to get a clear answer on this question.

jw's do not believe that jehovah will intervene if someone is sick, dying or stopping a car crash.

they feel that jehovah is letting "this world" play out before he solves all of these problems.

New NWT deception at Genesis 8:22 to indicate earth remains forever.

i could not find mention of this before.

i was reading genesis 8:22 in the niv and was surprised i had never noticed that this verse gives the impression that the earth will not remain forever.

genesis 8:22 stated by god after the flood, when promising to never again destroy all living creatures.. as long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.

So Jehovah has an each way bet on whether the earth stands forever or it will pass away .

On the one hand his written word indicates that the world will pass away , not endure for ever , then on the other hand he indicates that it will

last forever , that it will not pass away.

it declares that many of today's best magicians are in league with the devil.

his claims are based on his observation that the tricks would be impossible to do unless the magicians had made unholy pacts with the devil.. so what's the take of the wtbts?

As I have said before and will say again these words attributed to GOD ?Jehovah ? over 2000 years ago and are continually debated today as to what the correct interpretation lies ,???? Where has he/she been these last 2000 years ? He/She could easily clear up these controversial passages , and there are heaps of them , if he/she just spoke up ? Imperfect humans decided what books were to be included to make up the Bible Cannon , GOD never had a say in it .Is that reasonable ?

After all He/She is GOD the Almighty ? Why so silent for 2000+ years ?

Why do animals suffer?

bonnie is fourteen years old now and she's still fit and active, but she sleeps (and farts) a lot more and is definitely slowing down.. she loves us in her own dumb way and always comes to the door to greet me when i get home from work.

she doesn't 'sin' but yeah, she'll steal biscuits and feel shame afterwards.

Edit to say , Why do all the marine creatures suffer , how in the world could Adam and Eve`s disobedience effect /affect marine life, where they live out there lives with the threat of another marine creature ready to eat them alive.

And God is a loving God ? No harm to any creature would occur under his Kingship ? Then why has he tolerated it for over 6000 years ,? I don`t think the rest of creation would accept the WT theory.

God is Love ? Tell that to all of his creation .

Every living thing/creature on this planet survives by killing and eating some other living creature/thing .

wt teaches that rev 18:11 applies to "big business" mourning the demise of false religion, as they were essentially losing their best customer(s).. the last reference to this concept that i could find is 1993 wt.

also weeping and mourning over her are greedy men of commerce, traveling merchants .

Good question berrygerry ,associated with that scripture as you point out is" Babylon The Great Has Fallen" (false religion) do they still teach that ? Probably not , for they could not preach one without the other.

I don`t think there is any evidence for either claims.

I saw this when it was first posted , I resisted commenting on it because of the "C" word .

I have never considered myself a prude , before I converted to JW `s at age 19 , the language of F`s & C`s was part of my vocabulary .I had a foul mouth.

After 33 years in the Borg , maybe that`s one positive ?

I think it would have had more impact substituting the "C" word for something less confronting.
