Watchtower crackdown on anointed expansion - are they reaching for a solution to the expanding numbers problem?

if this has been discussed i missed it.

i think the january study watchtower is a concerted attempt to reduce the numbers claiming to be anointed.

but i love the sneaky way they go about it this time.

If I remember correctly the numbers never went below 8000 , and they hung around that figure for decades , and then gradually started to increase , to the point they are now over 15000 participants.

The Society has controlled the numbers of all those being appointed in there organization sanctioned by the G.B.

Elders M.S.etc. Etc.

All except the most important appointment , the anointed , so it seems. Which the Society seems to have no input whatsoever , they are not involved in there appointment , they dont seem to have any impact whatsoever who is an anointed person .

Isn`t that strange ? The most important appointment and they have no involvement in it ?

The anointed are the ones to rule with JC as Kings , not the elders or MS ,DO, or whoever

Appointments Of Elders / Ministerial Servants Etc. In Contrast With Those Claiming To Be Of The Anointed .

according to jw beliefs the anointed / 144000 are going to rule with jc for a thousand years .as kings rev:20;4 .

i think they , the anointed , would be more important in the scheme of things than an elder or a ministerial servant in any congregation.. yet for the most part , they have no say or any position in any of the congregations in the world , and certainly not if they are female , however heaven accepts female anointed ones.. yet here on earth ,along with there service , elders and ministerial servants , with the holy spirits blessing , are appointed to there position in the congregation.. apparently there is no such scrutiny , guidelines or procedures in place , no holy spirit , or performance of service to determine who is an anointed person , so that any tom dick or harry ,mary jane or joan can claim to be an anointed person and it is accepted by the watchtower organization .. .

can you imagine every male claiming to be an elder in a congregation if you use the same guideline/ leeway that is given to the anointed ?.

Why do they even list these numbers in the YB ?

i have a beard.

i spend a month on vacation with no worry from the congregation overseas of course.

i grew a full beard now and with glasses i finally have posted my picture on facebook og me... next to half life 2 cover showing i look like gordan freeman lol.

Had this sister you speak about been in our congregation Bro ,Elder & sister wife would have had her in their salon that they managed /owned and removed her facial hairs (and anywhere else for a fee ) using Electroloscyis technology ( which I believed to be a con ) that`s just my opinion

They just had to come back for more treatment , and back and back and back .

I grew a beard in the 60`s and it wasn`t long before I was counselled against having one .

Years later in another congregation I grew a goatee , again it wasn`t long before I was counselled against having one.

Years later I again grew a beard , same result .

When I left over 20 years ago I haven`t been without my beard , whither I go my beard goes with me.

It`s a power issue with many Elders to control those they consider under them .

Funny how they are pre-occupied with the Pope and Catholics / politics , yet have very little to say about what is happening with Islam/Muslim extremists , that have committed terrorist attacks in many parts of the world .

Considering Islam has over 1 billion adherents , you would think they would gain more attention , the Catholics are not terrorizing the rest of the world , committing barbarous acts against innocent people everywhere .Yet Muslims do .

Out of all religions Christian or otherwise , that they group as the "World Empire of False Religion" it is only the Roman Catholic Religion that gets the most attention , not the Greek Orthodox Church ,Russian Orthodox Church ,not even the" Seventh Day Adventists" , or the "Church of Jesus Christ of The Latter Day Saints" that have similar member numbers and were born in the mid to late 18th Century get the same adverse reaction.
