  This video highlights how Jehovah`s Witnesses are a divisive cult among their own members , it`s not what they say , it`s what they don`t say.

  Jehovah`s Witnesses scrutinize among themselves who is a spiritual person , and who is not , in their congregation .They are making a Judgmental decision , based on their own observations. .

  According to this video , the Governing Body of Jehovah`s Witnesses is sanctioning individuals of any Congregation to make a Judgmental decision who is spiritual and who is not based on their approval rating of the standards set out by the Governing Body.

  Who we approve of is a potential marriage mate , otherwise no,

  Aren`t they causing divisions in their own ranks with such a policy ? They say they want to keep pure worship in their religion and yet they foster suspicion among their own members against each other .

  Their is a culture of watching other people in the religion and tell tailing on others if you think they are breaking the rules or regulations of the strict boundarys of the religion , which will result in a Judicial Committee meeting which inevitibily results in .dis-fellowshipping and shunning.

  This is a side effect of picking a marriage mate . in J.W. land.

  Finding the value of God; Isn't it better to believe in a deity?

  the question as to what believing in this entity called god entails is a fairly important question that needs to be answered first.

  to me, the key difference between a universe in which god exists versus one where god doesn't lies in the idea of teleology.

  in my view, a universe with god entails some sort of process towards an end, an end which can be characterized with words such as bliss and unity and others.

  Welcome truth doubter ,I don`t think any of us ever dreamed we would be on a site like this either , but thankfully we are .We are because we want to help and encourage others to know they are not alone in their doubts and confusion, and that so many more share the same realizations they are coming to , that is , that Jehovah`s Witnesses are no more God`s earthly channel of communication than the Mormons ,SDA`s , Christadelphians , or any other man made religion.

  Walking a thin line - Resigning Elder

  i feel like i need to vent my story out, as i feel quite helpless at the moment.. i'm 31 year old, married, father of toddler with another one on the way, due later this month.

  i've been serving as elder for about 4 years now in a south florida congregation.

  ,My heart goes out to you guys finding out TTATT and still having beleiving mates by your sides . Apart from realising it`s not the truth , which is a great stress in itself , you have to be very careful with your relationship with your wife whom you both obviously love.

  court denies summary judgement for laurel jehovah's witnesses congregation.

  a motion for summary judgement is denied in a case against the laurel congregation of jehovah's witnesses and some individuals over child abuse reporting issues.a lawyer for the congregation maintained that elders were exempted from reporting requirements under a state law because of clergy privilege and confidentiality.the case resulted from allegations that elders did not report an unlawful sexual relationship between a woman and a 14-year-old boy, both of whom were members of the jehovah's witnesses congregation.. download the court opinion here.

  A person in a religion who commits a sin/crime confessors to a minister/priest , whoever , and it remains solely between the two of them , then that is clergy privilege and confidentiality , it goes no further.

  Jehovah`s Witnesses violate that procedure , their is no confidentiality because they involve multiple other party`s .including other Elders, and the Legal Department .

  Jehovah`s Witnesses have always maintained they do not have a Clergy Class .So why appeal in a court of law that they do ?

  A penitent who approaches a Clergy person does so to confess a wrongdoing and seek guidance and counselling , not to be subjected to a judicial Commission and be disfellow-shipped and shunned by family and friends of their religion .

  In the case of a sex crime committed to a minor by an older person , it`s a legal responsibility for whoever know`s about it , clergy or not , to report it to the relevant authorities .

  Jehovah`s Witnesses fail on all counts.

  Has a 'Christian' ever murdered somebody?

  a jw made the claim "no christian [jw] has ever murdered anyone".. when i showed examples of such, the goalposts moved a bit with "was he a baptized, dedicated witness?".

  can anyone provide examples of murders committed by "baptized, dedicated" jws?.

  All of you people quoting examples of "Christians" before C.T.Russell and the "Jehovah`s Witnesses "movement.are missing the point , JW`s don`t recognize anybody , or organized Religion before C.T.Russell as being Christian after 100 A.D.

  True Christians according to JW theology was from Jesus baptism , till approximately 100 A.D.

  Then their was the Apostacy from Approx. 100 A.D. till the late 1800`s when C.T.Russell appeared on the scene.when true Christians appeared on the scene as the I.B.S.A. , later to be re-named Jehovah`s Witnesses

  Has anybody watched Making A Murderer on Netflix ?

  i watched this 10 part series the other day and i was appalled at the investigation conducted by the police , especially the way they conducted their investigation with brendan vassey , his interrogation and obvious manipulation by the police officers , i couldn`t believe he was convicted , and sentenced to a jail term.. to any intelligent person with any sense of compassion could see brendan vassey was intellectually disadvantaged , yet these police officers exploited that failing of this boy .he should never have been convicted , his case should have been thrown out of court , the fact that he has been in jail over 10 years is a gross miscarriage of justice .. the conviction of steven avery seemed to me to be a set up also from what was presented on netflix ,.

  i am no fan of steven avery ,i think he is a bit of a hillbilly type , that has had no problem with cruelty to animals , which i abhor ,yet i do think he has been railroaded in this conviction ,while the real killer and rapist goes free .. what are your thoughts .

  Ian Reilly was charged and convicted of murdering his pregnant wife in Queensland in the late 1980`s ? they were both special pioneers and served where the need was great in Australia

  After his release from jail he was still an active JW and married a fellow witness .
