and god is the same today as he was yesterday and will be the same tomorrow.. in other words he is unchangeable.. what a bloodthirsty god he was in the old testament., at his command killing old men young men women and children by the sword , a two edged sword i might add in some cases.cutting both ways.. put yourself in that situation for a minute , either as a victim or the executioner.

can you imagine piercing some other human with a two edged sword ?

especially if they were a child ?

God created the animals , in the law covenant he makes provision for their health and well being

.On the other hand he wants humans to sacrifice these same animals and bird life. In the 4000 years from Adam to Christ , he has wanted animal . bird sacrifices shedding their blood , would amount to the millions if not billions of animals slaughtered for him.

Is their any difference in the New Testament ? not really , in spite of all the " LOVE" that surrounds Jesus life he wholeheartedly endorses his Fathers wishes .

Christendoms religions cherry pick all the goody goody /lovey lovey scriptures they want but the bottom line is according to the Bible the majority of humans , man woman and child , are going to be annhillated at the great tribulaion and Armageddon

Jehovah/GOD , apparently is not content with the shed blood of Jesus , he wants billions of people to shed their blood in his name. according to the New Testament.

New light is always followed by failed prophecy`s /expectations or evident

I find it amusing that in all these New World / paradise scenarios , they have the latest equipment , building materials , clothing , mod cons , sewerage ,technology ,etc.etc. ,Where do they think all this comes from ?

If not from mass produced , in factories somewhere along the line.

The earth has different temperate zones , no way could it be otherwise ,therefor every where on the earth could not be a paradise.

What is a generation? Matthew 1:17 is pretty clear to me

so we have this ridiculous teaching of an overlapping generation, something the bible clearly does not teach.

but it's interesting that at the start of matthew we go through the genealogy of jesus.

jehovah`s witnesses make a big deal about the 2 or 3 witnesses in judicial decisions yet they ignore that evidence when it suits them.. firstly :.

regarding the length of a generation matthew ch.1:17 gives a strong clue ,their are 3 lots of 14 generations mentioned which equal 42 generations from the time of abraham to jesus .. watchtower publications give abrahams birth as 2018 bc......they also give jesus birth as of 2 bc a period of 2016 years .

Child Abuse In This Weeks Meeting Part

i was sitting at the meeting this week and the "apply yourself to the field ministry" part started.

it was the first part under, "the initial call".

they read from the "good news" brochure and ask a question on it.

Jehovah`s Witnesses who parrot it`s an Apostate lie that J..W.`s have a problem with Child Sexual Abuse should be asked , why then was the Australian G.B.member , Geoffrey Jackson giving evidence at the ARC,?

Why was the J.W. Lawyer Vin Toole , giving evidence at the ARC, and also a number of Elders.,if it is only Apostate lies.? Obviously it is a reality and not Apostate lies . Otherwise it would not be necessary for them to be their , or to be called up in the first place by the ARC.

No Jehovah`s Witness at the ARC denied the fact that 1006 cases of Child Sexual Abuse that was handled by the judicial committee`s over 50 years were not reported to the police or Child protection authorities ,not one.

And no one objected to that fact, that those figures were accurate.

Jehovah`s Witnesses who parrot that claim just show how ignorant or stupid they are.Maybe both.
